Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for assessing riskiness of a domain are provided. For example, a content request is received from a content provider service that hosts a website associated with a domain. The content request is evaluated to identify request features. Feature scores are assigned to the request features using labeled feature data. The feature scores are aggregated to generate a content request risk score corresponding to a riskiness of the content request corresponding to fraud, such as domain spoofing. The content request risk score along with other content request risk scores of content requests associated with the content provider service are aggregated to create a content provider risk score corresponding to a riskiness of the content provider service, such as a risk of the domain being fraudulent. The content provider risk score is used to either block or process the content request.

Abstract: The present teaching generally relates to detecting providing pre-validated data buckets for online experiments. In a non-limiting embodiment, user activity data representing user activity for a first plurality of user identifiers may be obtained. A first set of values and a second values, representing first and second user engagement parameters, respectively, may be generated for each user identifier based on the user activity data. A first ranking and a second ranking may be determined for the first and second sets, respectively. A first exclusion range including a first number of values to be removed from the first and second sets may be determined. A homogenous value set may be generated by removing the first number of values from the first and second sets, where each value from the homogenous value set corresponds to a user identifier available to be placed in a data bucket for an online experiment.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for extracting content based on image analysis. A method may include receiving content including at least an image depicting a coupon; converting the received content into a larger image including the image depicting the coupon; determining, utilizing one or more neural networks, the image depicting the coupon within the larger image, wherein determining the image depicting the coupon comprises: segmenting a foreground bounding box including the image depicting the coupon from background image portions of the image; cropping the larger image based on the bounding box, wherein the cropped image consists of the image depicting the coupon; determining text included in the cropped image; and extracting information included in the coupon based on the determined text.

Abstract: A boarding intention determination device according to the present application includes an acquisition unit and a determination unit. The acquisition unit acquires a positional relationship between boarding position information representing a boarding spot for boarding a mobile object and user position information representing a current position of a user. The determination unit determines whether the user has an intention to board the mobile object based on the positional relationship that is acquired by the acquisition unit and behavior information representing behaviors of the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for associating a plurality of Internet-enabled devices with a common user profile for targeting Internet content or advertising. One method includes: receiving, from a plurality of Internet-enabled devices, a plurality of requests for electronic content or advertising; extracting, from each of the plurality of requests, a source IP address and a unique identifier associated with the respective Internet-enabled device; for each source IP address for which requests were received over a predetermined time period from a number of Internet-enabled devices below a threshold number of devices, identifying each possible pair of devices from which requests were received; and for each possible pair of devices, calculating a probability that the pair of devices are owned or operated by a common user.

A method for receiving electronic mails on a feature phone includes receiving a text message on the feature phone in response to a first electronic mail. The method also includes calling a telephonic number embedded in the text message to listen to an audio clip of the first electronic mail and providing a voice input as a response to the first electronic mail. The system includes a feature phone that receives a plurality of electronic mails. The system also includes one or more electronic devices, and a communication interface in electronic communication with the feature phone and the one or more electronic devices. The system further includes a memory that stores instructions, and a processor responsive to the instructions to receive a text message in response to an electronic mail transmitted by an electronic mail user.

A first budget pacing component is assigned to control bidding by a first content serving component for a set of content items. A second budget pacing component is assigned to control bidding by a second content serving component for the set of content items. The first budget pacing component controls the bidding by the first content serving component according to a first portion of a content item budget based upon a traffic share of the first content serving component. The second budget pacing component controls the bidding by the second content serving component according to a second portion of the content item budget based upon a traffic share of the second content serving component.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods customizing electronic communications. A future event associated with a first user may be determined, and a second user that is associated with the first user may be identified. A plurality of communications involving the first user and the second user may be analyzed. A selection rule may be applied based on the analyzed plurality of communications, the selection rule identifying content from the database. Content from the database may be selected based on the application of the selection rule. An electronic message may be provided to the first user identifying the future event, and the selected content may be provided to the first user.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are provided for determining a bid value for placing an advertisement onto advertising space available through an electronic marketplace. A method is used for calculating the option value of maintaining the advertisement in the advertising space during one or more periods of time. The option value may be based on expected profits and the estimated future value of maintaining the advertisement. The option value may then be used to calculate the bid price for placing the advertisement.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for providing an ad-supported mobile data plan, where ad display may be tied to data usage levels and user input. A method includes receiving, using at least one processor, user interaction with advertisement content displayed on a device; retrieving, using the at least one processor, a data usage limit associated with the device; and causing a change in the data usage limit based on the user interaction with the advertisement content displayed on the device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for improved web searching. In one implementation, suggested search queries am provided based on previous search queries and click data. A weighted bi-partite graph or index may be used to identify related search queries based on overlapping clicked URLs. According to a method, query-click log data of a search engine is processed to generate sets of suggested search queries, data corresponding to each suggested search query, and a set of clicked URLs related to each suggested search query. Additionally, or independently, methods may be provided for contextually correcting spelling errors within sets of suggested search queries using a contextual algorithm, and/or identifying and discarding sets of suggested search queries and URLs that lead to restricted material, such as restricted content and related URLs.

For example, a plurality of messages associated with the messaging account may be received. Interactions with the plurality of messages may be tracked to generate sets of message interactions. The plurality of messages may be analyzed to identify sets of attributes. An expected action model may be generated based upon the sets of message interactions and the sets of attributes. A set of messages associated with the messaging account may be analyzed based upon the expected action model to predict one or more interactions corresponding to one or more potential presentations of the set of messages. A presentation may be selected from the one or more potential presentations. A graphical user interface may be controlled using the presentation.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed for utilizing unused network capacity for prefetch requests. One method includes: receiving, over a network, network traffic information from a network provider of the network; determining a threshold value for prefetch request fulfillment based on the received network traffic information; receiving, over the network, a plurality of prefetch requests from an application running on a mobile device connected to the network of the network provider; determining, for each prefetch request of the plurality of prefetch requests, a score for the prefetch request based on the received plurality of prefetch requests; and responding to, for each prefetch request of the plurality of prefetch requests, the prefetch request based on the determined threshold value and the determined score for the prefetch request.

Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems for sending push notifications of content items to client devices are provided herein. For example, an input received from a user can be expanded to obtain an expanded user interest. Content items from a content source can be filtered based upon the expanded user interest to obtain a set of filtered content items. A push notification can be constructed to comprise one or more of the filtered content items from the set of filtered content items. The push notification can be sent to a client device of the user for display as a device alert notification. In an example, the filtered content items, within the push notification, may be ranked based upon a ranking metric.
