Abstract: Systems and methods for building keyword searchable audience based on performance ranking are provided. The system includes a processor and a non-transitory storage medium accessible to the processor. The system includes a memory storing a database comprising segment data and campaign data. A computer server is in communication with the memory and the database, the computer server programmed to: obtain a performance-lift vector for an audience segment; obtain a campaign vector using meta-data from the campaign data; obtain a keyword vector for the audience segment using the performance-lift vector and the campaign vector; receive an input from a user interface accessible to an advertiser; and search the segment data at least partially based on the input and the keyword vector for segments in the segment data.
Abstract: Described herein are example systems and operations for enhancing targeted advertising using A/B testing. These examples provide solutions to problems in targeted advertising, such as the problem of not being able to identify audience and/or situational targets mostly or only influenced by the ad or ad campaign of concern. For example, described herein are solutions that can build a pair of differential behavioral data sets similar to an A/B clinical study. Then two or more models can be generated on each data set. In an example, these models can be based on machine learning and/or statistical analysis. The differential learning between the two or more models can then be used to enhance predictions of desired response probabilities mostly or only due to the influence of the ad or ad campaign being modeled.
Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards providing word-by-word message completion for an incomplete response message, wherein the response message is composed in response to a received stimulus message. The message completion is based on a Response Completion Model (RCM) that may model both the language used in the incomplete response message and the contextual information in the received stimulus message. The RCM may be determined based on conversational stimulus-response data including stimulus-response message pairs. The RCM may be a mixture model and include a generic response language model based on an N-gram model, a Stimulus Model based on a Selection Model or a Topic. Model, and a mixture parameter. In some embodiments, at least one candidate next word for the incomplete response message is determined based on the RCM. The at least one candidate next word may be selected and included in the incomplete response message. A complete response message may be generated and provided to a user.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques and systems for online ad campaign pacing. The techniques described herein use budget allocation along with the estimations of bids and response rates. With use of budget allocation, the techniques can use budget pacing to enhance impressions and maximize desired responses, such as desired click-through rates. These techniques focus on enhancing pacing and performance of ad campaigns, such as enhancing performance across distinct and/or unified online ad marketplaces. These techniques are especially useful in the context of a demand-side platform (DSP). In some examples, the techniques assume that impression supply is much larger than advertiser demand for impressions of their ads, so such techniques focus on selecting high performing inventory of ad space. Yet, with such a focus, a smooth or consistent delivery of ads over time is used.
