The torque-transmitting unit is located in the handle and operable to transmit an adjustable maximum value of torque to the shaft from the handle. The torque-adjusting unit is partially located in the handle, connected to the torque-transmitting unit, and operable to adjust the adjustable maximum value of torque.

Abstract: A hand tool includes a handle, a shank pivotally connected to the handle, and a locking unit operable for retaining the shank in a selected one of first and second angles relative to the handle. The first angle is about 175° to 185°, wherein the second angle is about 115° to 145°.

Abstract: A handle unit includes a handle, a connector, a bolt, a latch, a button and a spring. The handle includes two lugs. The connector includes a lug. The lug of the connector is located between the lugs of the handle. The bolt is inserted in the lugs so that the handle is pivotally connected to the connector. The latch is connected to the bolt and located in a non-circular opening of the second lug of the handle. The button is connected to the bolt. The spring is compressed between the button and the first lug of the handle to make the latch partially enter a non-circular opening of the connector to position the connector relative to the handle. The button can be pressed to make the latch leave the non-circular opening of the connector.

Abstract: A toolbox includes two pivotally connected shells, a buckling unit and at least one tool-holding unit. Each of the shells includes at least two primary partitions formed on an internal side thereof, a compartment defined between the primary partitions, a row of ribs formed one each of the primary partitions, and gaps each defined between two adjacent ones of the ribs. The bucking unit can buckle the shells to each other. The tool-holding unit is engaged with the rows of ribs of selected one of the shells.

Abstract: An insulating screwdriver includes a handle, a drive shank having a first end mounted in the handle and a second end protruding outwardly from the handle, an insulating jacket mounted on the second end of the drive shank, and an identification insulating sleeve mounted between the second end of the drive shank and the insulating jacket. Thus, when the insulating jacket is worn out or broken due to friction or hit, the identification insulating sleeve is still located outside of the drive shank to provide a secondary insulating effect to the drive shank so as to protect the user when operating the drive shank.

Abstract: A toolbox includes a shell, a holder and a cover. The shell includes two grooves defined therein and two inclined faces formed thereon near the grooves. The holder is disposed in the shell and formed with a plurality of holes for receiving bits. The cover includes two lugs extended from a side thereof and two blocks each formed on a related one of the lugs and formed with an inclined face. The blocks are movably disposed in the grooves so that the cover can be moved relative to the shell. When the cover is moved away from the shell, the cover can be pivoted relative to the shell so that the inclined faces of the blocks are located against the inclined faces of the shell, thus limiting the pivoting of the cover relative to the shell.

Abstract: A screwdriver includes a handle, a fixing member mounted in the handle, a release member slidably mounted on and axially movable relative to the fixing member, and a tool shank locked on the release member and detachable from the release member by movement of the release member relative to the fixing member. Thus, the tool shank is supported by the fixing member and the release member which are supported by the handle to enhance the strength of the screwdriver so that the screwdriver is not easily broken or worn out, thereby enhancing the lifetime of the screwdriver. In addition, the tool shank is mounted on and detached from the fixing member and the handle by pressing the release member, thereby facilitating the user mounting and replacing the tool shank.

Abstract: A tool box includes a main body, and a plurality of juxtaposed receiving members each pivotally mounted in the main body for receiving a plurality of screwdriver tips. Thus, each of the screwdriver tips is locked on the respective receiving member efficiently by the clamping effect of the elastic press piece of each of the receiving members, thereby preventing each of the screwdriver tips from being detached from the tool box when not in use.

Abstract: A selective one-way tool includes a handle, a transmission positioned in the slot, a bit-engaging element installed on the handle and a mode-switching ring rotationally installed on the handle. The handle includes a mandrel defining a slot. The transmission includes a first pawl, a second pawl and a spring compressed between the first and second pawls. The bit-engaging element engages with both of the first and second pawls in a non-directional mode, engages with only the first pawl in a first directional mode, and engages with only the second pawl in the second directional mode. The mode-switching ring includes two ribs on an internal side for pushing the second pawl into the slot in the first directional mode, for pushing the first pawl into the slot in the second directional mode, and for not pushing the first and second pawls into the slot in the non-directional mode.
