  • Patent number: 6590989
Abstract: A microphone base includes a rigid base body, a rigid microphone connector, a circuit board unit and a shock absorbing member. The base body includes an upper housing which is formed with an opening, and a lower housing which is disposed under and which is connected removably to the upper housing. The upper and lower housings cooperatively define a chamber therebetween, which is in communication with the opening in the upper housing. The microphone connector is disposed within the opening in the upper housing of the base body, and is adapted to be in electrical connection with a microphone. The circuit board unit is disposed within the chamber in the base body, and is in electrical connection with the connector. The shock absorbing member is made of a resilient material for connecting the connector fixedly to the base body while preventing direct contact between the connector and the base body.

  • Patent number: 6491266
Abstract: A stand for holding a camera or a microphone, includes a cylindrical tube unit having an inner wall surface defining an axially extending post-receiving chamber to telescopically receive a post therein. A positioning element is fixed on the tube unit. First, second and third support legs have upper portions sleeved on an outer wall surface of the tube unit. The second and third support legs are rotatable relative to the tube unit in such a manner that the second and third support legs can be stacked below the first support leg when the stand is in a storage position and that the first, second and third support legs engage the positioning element and are angularly spaced apart from one another when the stand is disposed at a position of use.

  • Patent number: 6424723
Abstract: A microphone holder for mounting a microphone on a drum includes a vertical plate having an inner side surface which is adapted to face the drum, and a microphone connecting device, a clip member, and a positioning plate connected fixedly to the vertical plate. The microphone connecting device is adapted to hold the microphone thereon. The clip member clamps a vertical bolt that interconnects a drum body and a drum skin frame. The positioning plate is disposed above the clip member, and has a horizontal top plate section with a bottom surface that is adapted to abut against an upper end of the vertical bolt, and two vertical side plate sections which extend respectively and integrally from two opposite sides of the top plate section, and which are adapted to flank a projection on the drum skin frame through which the vertical bolt extends so as to prevent rotation of the clip member on the vertical bolt.
