Abstract: The invention consists in a ternary system. The ternary system comprises three phases which are non-miscible with one another and consist of a phase of perfluorinated ethers, an aqueous phase and a phase of silicones comprising at least one straight-chain-silicone containing a glycol group and at least one cyclic-chain silicone containing a methyl group. These silicones can be of the dimethicone copolyol type and of the cyclomethicone type, respectively. And the aqueous phase preferably contains a hydrating agent, a co-emulsifier and an anti-bacterial preservative. The invention concerns in particular cosmetics.

Abstract: A clamshell housing encloses a nail dryer. The housing includes a cover pivotally connected to a base. The cover may be opened by applying leverage to it and exposing a nail drying zone. The cover may be pivotally closed to form a compact package when not in use. A nail drying fan is actuated when the cover is opened thus closing an electrical circuit. The electrical connection is interrupted when the cover is tipped into a closed position.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a casing with invisible hinge, wherein the receptacles respectively of the two hinge axes are made in one of the side walls of an inner element and emerge outwardly to permit the introduction of the axes of the hinge respectively into the two receptacles during the fitting of the two half-casings forming the casing. An outer element fits on the inner element to completely close both receptacles at one of its corresponding side walls, thus rendering the hinge invisible from the outside.
Abstract: A convenient snap-fitting, pivotal ring is hingedly attached to the handle portion of the umbrella with abutting portions of the handle end preventing the ring from pivoting more than about 90.degree..
