Abstract: A roping harness comprises a belt and leg loops joined by a leg loop connection. A connector keeps the belt and the pair of leg loops together, the latter each passing through a connection ring of the connector. The belt and leg loop connection are movable with respect to one another and with respect to the body. The connector has a body, a rotation shaft and a first D-ring mounted rotatable with respect to the body around the rotation shaft. The first D-ring pivots around an axis of rotation parallel to a direction passing through the connection ring. The first D-ring is connected to the body by means of the rotation shaft fixedly mounted on the body.
Abstract: A camming clamping device comprises a head provided with an anchor point. A cam is installed rotatable around at least one shaft between a retracted position and an extended position. A spring is functionally coupled to the cam to bias the at least one cam to the extended position. An annular end is mechanically coupled to the head. A wire element connects the head and the annular end. The wire element is in the form of a ring. The ring is folded into a U-shape with two legs joined by a central portion. The two legs are fixed to the anchor point. Four strands of the wire element connect the head and the annular end. An actuating system has a trigger installed slidingly and configured to selectively engage the retracted position.

Abstract: A belay device comprises a casing with an opening for a rope loop. A roller is inserted movable in the casing and mounted idle. The roller is mounted movable between first, second and third roller positions. A rotation clamp either allows free rotation of the roller or disables one rotation direction of the roller depending on the position of the roller in the casing. The rotation clamp allows free rotation when the roller is in the first roller position and disables one rotation direction of the roller when the roller is in the second and third roller position. A spring biases the roller to the first roller position and transforms a force on the roller into a position of the roller in the casing.
Abstract: An energy absorber has a textile element comprising two substrates connected to one another by breaking links and resistant links, the textile element being wound. A container receives the textile element. The container defines a first opening for a first end and a second opening for a second end of the textile element. The resistant link connects a portion of the two substrates and maintains the connection in response to a first stress applied between the first end and the second end. The breaking links break and absorb energy in response to a first stress between the first end and the second end of the textile element. The container is non-openable and defines an access hole opening out facing the centre of the textile element in wound state.
Abstract: A camming clamping device comprises a head with a cam installed swivelling around a pivot shaft between retracted and extended positions. An annular end is mechanically coupled to the head. A rod of variable length connects the head with an annular end designed to receive a carabiner. A wire element made from textile material passes through the rod to connect the head and the annular end. A trigger is installed slidingly to selectively engage the retracted position of the cam. An adjustment device of the length of the rod defines at least a distance between the head and the annular end that is greater than a threshold distance to stretch the wire element and compress the rod in the first direction.
Abstract: A quickdraw connector comprises a coil of a wire element. A first tubular element surrounds the coil and extends in a longitudinal direction of the wire element. An additional tubular element is arranged around the coil to form an additional sheath. The coil is salient from the two opposite ends of the additional tubular element to define a first ring and a second ring designed to receive a carabiner. The second ring is separated from the first ring by the additional sheath. The first sheath continuously surrounds the coil along the first ring and the second ring to define a sheath of first ring and a sheath of second ring. A quickdraw comprises such quickdraw connector.
