  • Patent number: 12605595
Abstract: A camming clamping device comprises a head provided with an anchor point. A cam is installed rotatable around at least one shaft between a retracted position and an extended position. A spring is functionally coupled to the cam to bias the at least one cam to the extended position. An annular end is mechanically coupled to the head. A wire element connects the head and the annular end. The wire element is in the form of a ring. The ring is folded into a U-shape with two legs joined by a central portion. The two legs are fixed to the anchor point. Four strands of the wire element connect the head and the annular end. An actuating system has a trigger installed slidingly and configured to selectively engage the retracted position.

Abstract: A rope clamping device including a body with an attachment device to a user and a first through hole receiving a rope strand. A deformable channel is formed by a plurality of links mounted consecutively behind one another between a first link and a last link. The links are attached consecutively two by two by swivel shafts and mounted swivelling around swivel axis to modify the cross-section of the channel. Each link includes two primary contact surfaces designed to be in contact with the rope strand, the two primary contact surfaces facing one another in a direction perpendicular to the swivel axis. The two primary contact surfaces of each link are pivotally movable with respect to one another.

  • Publication number: 20260069897
Abstract: A belay device comprises a casing with an opening for a rope loop. A roller is inserted movable in the casing and mounted idle. The roller is mounted movable between first, second and third roller positions. A rotation clamp either allows free rotation of the roller or disables one rotation direction of the roller depending on the position of the roller in the casing. The rotation clamp allows free rotation when the roller is in the first roller position and disables one rotation direction of the roller when the roller is in the second and third roller position. A spring biases the roller to the first roller position and transforms a force on the roller into a position of the roller in the casing.

  • Patent number: 12539434
Abstract: An energy absorber has a textile element comprising two substrates connected to one another by breaking links and resistant links, the textile element being wound. A container receives the textile element. The container defines a first opening for a first end and a second opening for a second end of the textile element. The resistant link connects a portion of the two substrates and maintains the connection in response to a first stress applied between the first end and the second end. The breaking links break and absorb energy in response to a first stress between the first end and the second end of the textile element. The container is non-openable and defines an access hole opening out facing the centre of the textile element in wound state.

  • Patent number: 12533554
Abstract: A camming clamping device comprises a head with a cam installed swivelling around a pivot shaft between retracted and extended positions. An annular end is mechanically coupled to the head. A rod of variable length connects the head with an annular end designed to receive a carabiner. A wire element made from textile material passes through the rod to connect the head and the annular end. A trigger is installed slidingly to selectively engage the retracted position of the cam. An adjustment device of the length of the rod defines at least a distance between the head and the annular end that is greater than a threshold distance to stretch the wire element and compress the rod in the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20260007931
Abstract: A quickdraw connector comprises a coil of a wire element. A first tubular element surrounds the coil and extends in a longitudinal direction of the wire element. An additional tubular element is arranged around the coil to form an additional sheath. The coil is salient from the two opposite ends of the additional tubular element to define a first ring and a second ring designed to receive a carabiner. The second ring is separated from the first ring by the additional sheath. The first sheath continuously surrounds the coil along the first ring and the second ring to define a sheath of first ring and a sheath of second ring. A quickdraw comprises such quickdraw connector.

  • Publication number: 20250380760
Abstract: A helmet designed for working at heights and for mountaineering comprises a crown and a diverter. The crown is provided with a crown surface delineating several first through holes separated by first studs and defining a first ventilation area. The diverter is attached to the crown and arranged between the crown and the space designed to receive a user's head. The diverter is facing the first ventilation area in a first direction perpendicular to a median sagittal plane of a user of the helmet. The diverter defines a surface extending mainly in a direction that connects the peak of the crown and a bottom end of the crown. The surface of the diverter moves away from the surface of the crown in the first direction directed towards the median sagittal plane.

  • Publication number: 20250380791
Abstract: An attachment device comprises a first rope strand and a second rope strand fixed to one another by a seam area and a ligature area arranged adjacently in the longitudinal directions of the strands. First stitching points pass successively through the first strand and second strand to fixedly secure the two strands pressing on one another to form the seam area. Second stitching points surround at least one of the first strand and second strand and may pass through the other of the first strand and second strand to fixedly secure the first strand pressing firmly against the second strand and form the ligature area. A lanyard comprises the attachment device.

  • Publication number: 20250380762
Abstract: A helmet comprises a crown and a neckband having a body. Right attachment point and left attachment point attach the neckband to the lateral parts of the crown. The body is installed movable between a use position where the body is salient from the crown and a stowed position where the body is installed in the cavity. The inner face of the body is facing the rear inner face of the crown in the stowed position. The body is of curved shape and moves between the positions by turning elastically. The body is connected to the right attachment point and the left attachment point by a flexible attachment formed by a flexible textile element or a strip of elastomer material. The flexible attachment is elastically deformable in three-dimensional manner.

  • Publication number: 20250380790
Abstract: An attachment device includes a clamp for attachment to an anchor point. The clamp defines a closed position and an open position respectively preventing or allowing extraction from the anchor point. The clamp has a support defining a hole and a rigid tab installed movably with respect to the hole. A lock has a first part and a second part, the first part being secured to the second part or released from the second part to define a locked state or an unlocked state. The first part is attached to the rigid tab. In the locked position, the first part limits movement of the rigid tab to prevent a relative movement between the rigid tab and the support out of the closed position to keep the clamp in the closed position.
