Abstract: A roping harness includes a belt, a first and a second leg loop, and shoulder straps. The belt has an inner and an outer face. A first loop is fixed to the belt and designed for attachment of the shoulder straps. A second loop is fixed to the belt and is distinct from the first loop, the second loop being designed to form a ventral attachment point. A first strap defines a ring securely fixed to the belt and to the leg loops, the first strap being attached to the belt by a seam. The first and second loops are arranged in the ring, the first loop being outside the second loop and the second loop being outside the first loop. The first loop is arranged facing the second loop in a direction parallel to a first direction that passes through the inner and the outer face of the belt.
Abstract: A carabiner comprises a body having a first end and a second end and also a gate. The gate is installed pivotally movable with respect to the body, the gate being movable between an open position and a closed position. A latch presents a locked position and an unlocked position. In the unlocked position, the gate is free to move between the open position and the closed position. When the gate is in the closed position, moving the latch from the unlocked position to the locked position keeps the gate in the closed position. When the gate is in the open position, moving the latch from the unlocked position to the locked position keeps the gate in the open position.

Abstract: A crampon comprises: fixing and guide sections; a wire element connecting the fixing and guide sections, the wire element passing through first holes of the fixing section and second holes of the guide section; an adjustment device adjusting an effective length of the wire element; right and left obstacles arranged in the guide section and passed round by the wire element to introduce changes of direction; a friction element introducing at least one change of direction of the wire element between the right and left obstacles. The wire element has first and second ends that are respectively fixed to the right and left attachments. The first and second ends are fixed independently and in removable manner to the right and left attachments.
Abstract: A winder comprises a housing defining a cavity and a spool installed rotatable in the cavity. Rotation of the spool in a first or second rotation direction winds the wire element around the spool or unwinds the wire element. The wire element exits from the spool passing through a through opening of the housing. The spool arranges a channel receiving the wire element and that has a first end with at least one spiral turn. The first end of the channel is terminated by a wall. In a threshold position representative of maximum unwinding of the wire element, the wire element is wedged between the wall and a face of the housing bounding the through opening to form a stop preventing rotation of the spool in the unwinding direction beyond the threshold position.

Abstract: A roping harness comprises a belt and leg loops joined by a leg loop connection. A connector keeps the belt and the pair of leg loops together, the latter each passing through a connection ring of the connector. The belt and leg loop connection are movable with respect to one another and with respect to the body. The connector has a body, a rotation shaft and a first D-ring mounted rotatable with respect to the body around the rotation shaft. The first D-ring pivots around an axis of rotation parallel to a direction passing through the connection ring. The first D-ring is connected to the body by means of the rotation shaft fixedly mounted on the body.
Abstract: A camming clamping device comprises a head provided with an anchor point. A cam is installed rotatable around at least one shaft between a retracted position and an extended position. A spring is functionally coupled to the cam to bias the at least one cam to the extended position. An annular end is mechanically coupled to the head. A wire element connects the head and the annular end. The wire element is in the form of a ring. The ring is folded into a U-shape with two legs joined by a central portion. The two legs are fixed to the anchor point. Four strands of the wire element connect the head and the annular end. An actuating system has a trigger installed slidingly and configured to selectively engage the retracted position.
Abstract: A rope clamping device including a body with an attachment device to a user and a first through hole receiving a rope strand. A deformable channel is formed by a plurality of links mounted consecutively behind one another between a first link and a last link. The links are attached consecutively two by two by swivel shafts and mounted swivelling around swivel axis to modify the cross-section of the channel. Each link includes two primary contact surfaces designed to be in contact with the rope strand, the two primary contact surfaces facing one another in a direction perpendicular to the swivel axis. The two primary contact surfaces of each link are pivotally movable with respect to one another.
