  • Publication number: 20200256426
Abstract: The quick link has a body defining an open link with two opposite ends. The body comprises a straight portion separating two curved portions. A locking ring is fitted rotating and sliding with respect to the body with a closed position closing the link and an open position where the quick link is open. A shutter is fitted removable with respect to the body. The shutter defines an attachment means fixing the shutter to the straight portion and a blocking system fixing the shutter to the locking ring. The attachment means and blocking system are formed by a ring or a hook. The attachment means and blocking system allow rotation of the shutter with respect to the body when the locking ring is in the open position and prevent rotation of the shutter when the locking ring is in the closed position.

  • Patent number: 10716960
Abstract: A belay descender device for a rope comprising a cam mounted rotating on a fixed flange to perform locking of the rope when said rope is under tension, and a lever articulated on the cam to perform progressive unlocking of the rope with a geared-down effect at the beginning of unlocking travel of the lever. The operating lever comprises transmission means collaborating with a guide ramp of the flange to interrupt the mechanical link with the cam after an intermediate position of the lever has been passed resulting in freeing from said ramp outside the gearing-down area. The end of the guide ramp of the flange corresponds to the anti-panic position of the transmission means, enabling automatic locking of the cam as soon as the gearing-down area has been passed.

  • Patent number: 10682538
Abstract: The roping harness comprises: a belt provided with a first strap and with at least first and second comfort parts arranged between the first strap and the user, a pair of thigh straps, a connecting element connected to the pair of thigh straps, a first adjustment device configured to adjust the length of the first strap and to define the circumference of the belt. The first comfort pad and second comfort pad are fitted movable in translation with respect to one another. The first comfort pad is fitted movable in translation with respect to the first strap along the first strap. The belt comprises at least a first blocking stop configured to prevent movement of the first comfort pad with respect to the second comfort pad beyond a threshold value, the first adjustment device forming a second blocking stop of the first comfort pad.

  • Patent number: 10682535
Abstract: A rope self-locking descender has a first flange, a cam movable with respect to the first flange successively between a first position, a clamping position of the rope and a running position of the rope in the first flange, a handle movable with respect to the first flange successively between a stowing position, a first position of use clamping the rope and a running position of the rope. A first spring is connected to the first flange and to the handle to return the handle to the stowing position. The cam is mechanically connected to the handle in intermittent manner so that movement of the cam from the first position to its clamping position of the rope results in movement of the handle from its stowing position to the first position of use. The handle is not mechanically connected to the cam between the first position and a running position.

  • Patent number: 10675490
Abstract: A strap includes at least a first and second area, the first and second areas being consecutive along a longitudinal axis of the strap. The strap is woven from at least the first, second and third groups of warp threads and at least one weft thread, the strap being devoid of the second group in the second area, and of the third group in the first area, the first group passing through the first and second areas. The first group and second group of warp threads are distributed over the width of the strap in the first area.

  • Publication number: 20200164232
Abstract: The belay device comprises: a body with an inlet for insertion of a strand of rope forming a loop, a shaft and clamping part mounted on the body, the shaft extending in a longitudinal direction, an attachment opening collaborating with a carabiner connecting the belay device with a harness, a cam with a first end mounted in rotation on the shaft along a path so as to move towards or away from the clamping part and to define a first clamping position of the rope and another position. The cam, body and clamping part define a running path of the rope. The rope strand passes between the cam and the clamping part. The first end defines a through opening formed by the attachment opening. The connecting part is fitted movable in rotation with respect to the body along the path.

  • Publication number: 20200061417
Abstract: Lanyard having at least one belaying strap connected with a swivel connection which comprises two assembly parts able to rotate with respect to one another with a relative rotational movement. The two assembly parts of tubular shape are engaged coaxially in one another, the first outer part having a larger diameter than that of the second inner part. At least one of the parts is provided with a slot or hole for fitting securing means designed to secure the two parts in rotation in the engaged state. Applications: safety and securing lanyards for via ferrata, caving, mountaineering.

  • Publication number: 20200031638
Abstract: The self-clamping descender with pulley includes a first flange with a side wall defining a rope channel, a pulley fitted in rotary manner with respect to the first flange around a first axis of rotation, the pulley only rotating in a first direction of rotation around the first axis of rotation. The first axis of rotation is fitted movable with respect to the side wall of the first flange so as to define a first position and a second position presenting different distances with respect to the side wall of the first flange. Clamping of the pulley in the second direction of rotation results in movement of the first axis of rotation and pulley in the direction of the side wall of the first flange up to a threshold position.

  • Patent number: 10544926
Abstract: A headlamp is disclosed with a lamp fitted with a light source; a headband allowing the fastening of the headlamp over the head of a user, where the headband has a constant length, symmetrical with respect to a median sagittal plane. The headband also has an alternation of rigid/semi rigid elements for allowing a deformation in the space and the adjustment on the user's head is presented. In addition, the headband has a rigid/semi-rigid front section allowing a certain deformability along a first plane (x, y), a rigid/semi-rigid intermediate section allowing a certain deformability along a second plane (x, z) and a rigid/semi-rigid rear section allowing a certain deformability along a third plane (y, z). The headband has elements for the attachment and the passage of an elastic link for constraining the deformation of the rigid/semi rigid headband within the three planes.

  • Patent number: 10533739
Abstract: A headlamp which contains a lamp is disclosed, with a headband enabling the lamp to be held on the head of a user is presented. The headband has a rigid/semi-rigid front section supporting the lamp using a pivot liaison. The pivot liaison allows rotation having: a first amplitude of at least 0 to +30 degrees and preferably 0 to 45 degrees to provide appropriate illumination when the lamp is worn in a conventional manner around the head. A second amplitude ranging from at least 0 to ?45 degrees, and preferably 0 to ?80 degrees provides appropriate illumination when the lamp is worn around the neck without being inverted. The 0 degree inclination corresponds to the pivot of the lamp which generates a horizontal light beam when the headlamp is positioned on the head of a standing user with the eyes fixing the horizon.
