Abstract: A flow control apparatus comprising a housing capable of receiving a portion of the feeding set, a pumping device configured to receive the feeding set and may produce a fluid flow in the feeding set and deliver fluid to a subject, an ultrasonic sensor may be configured to produce a sensor signal indicative of a condition of the feeding set, and a control circuit in communication with the ultrasonic sensor for receiving the sensor signal from the ultrasonic sensor indicative of the condition of the feeding set. The ultrasonic sensor may comprise a plurality of sensor components which may be configured to emit an ultrasonic signal in a first direction, and in a second direction opposite the first direction through the feeding set.
Abstract: A hair conditioner composition the exploits a blend of a polyquaternium silicone nanoemulsion and a silicone oil to provide improved conditioning benefits and composition stability. The composition may also include a cationic surfactant, a fatty alcohol, and an aqueous carrier. When the polyquaternium silicone nanoemulsion and silicone oil are blended at the right ratio, the composition provides improved hair free flow and exhibits good stability.

Abstract: A solidified lotion is provided. The lotion includes a mixture of moisturizers and solidifying agents and forms a solid at room temperature. The lotion is manufactured into solid shapes which each include a single use quantity of lotion. The individual solid shapes are coated with a starch such as arrowroot powder. These individual shapes of solid lotion are sufficiently durable to not deform or stick to each other; allowing a large quantity of the solid lotion shapes to be packaged together without individual wrapping or packaging. During use, the lotion shapes melt when rubbed onto a person's skin and allow for quick absorption into the skin.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a cosmetic composition containing an extract of Cyperus rotundus extracted using warm microbubbles. The extract inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production and exhibits excellent anti-inflammatory efficacy by inhibiting the expression of interleukin 6 (IL-6), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), interleukin-1? (IL-1?), and tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?), which are inflammatory expression factors. In addition, the extract enhances the expression of aquaporin-3 (AQP-3), hyaluronan synthase 2 (HAS-2), claudin-1 (CLDN-1), cadherin 1 (CDH1), filaggrin (FLG), and involucrin (IVL), which are genes related to the skin barrier and moisturizing. Thus, when using the extract for cosmetic products, excellent effects can be exhibited in skin soothing, moisturizing, enhancement of the skin barrier, relief of irritation such as erythema, relief of pruritus, and the like, so the extract can be usefully applied to multi-care products that improve skin conditions.
