  • Patent number: 9288458
Abstract: Described is system for image de-hazing for real-time video processing. A video comprising image frames is received as input. In determining an atmospheric veil value to use, the system leverages temporal correlations or specific scene constraints to determine whether to use a new atmospheric veil value or a previously determined atmospheric veil value. A global atmospheric light value is estimated as an average of a set of the brightest pixels in an upper region of an image frame. A de-hazed image is generated from the current image frame using either the previously determined atmospheric veil value or the new atmospheric veil value and the global atmospheric light value.

  • Patent number: 9282154
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices for selecting an end-user device from a plurality of end-user devices to satisfy a user request. The method comprises storing at a portal aggregator data identifying a user device group comprising a plurality of end-user devices, wherein the data identifying the device group comprises the capabilities of each end-user device. When the portal aggregator receives a request from the user the portal aggregator generates a list of end-user devices from the device group that are capable of satisfying the user request. The portal aggregator then selects an end-user device from the list of capable end-user devices and then transmits a command to the selected end-user device to satisfy the request. In some cases the list of capable end-user devices may be sorted and/or filtered prior to selecting an end-user device from the list.

  • Patent number: 9282561
Abstract: A method, performed by a user equipment, is described for adjusting a transmit power for sounding reference signals (SRS) in a wireless communication system supporting a plurality of cells. A determination is made for each transmit power for a plurality of SRS to be transmitted on a subframe for a serving cell. If a total transmit power for the plurality of SRS to be transmitted on the subframe exceeds a maximum transmit power, the total transmit power is scaled for the plurality of SRS. The total transmit power for the plurality of SRS is scaled with a scaling factor parameter for the serving cell. Values of the scaling factor parameter are the same across serving cells.
