  • Patent number: 11970968
Abstract: MHMF Alternating Internal Combustion Engine consists of a double sided piston dividing the cylinder in two regions. Both regions are functional in alternative manner. This design includes more than one cylinder. The power strokes from both regions of the main cylinder also aid the processes in both regions of supplementary cylinder. The formulated Pressure-Volume (PV) relationship between the regions of a cylinder demonstrates the operation of one region supplementing the operation in the other region. This design leads to weight reduction, reduction of power losses thus enhancing efficiency.

  • Patent number: 11973339
Abstract: A T-breaker is an all-in-one solution for dc microgrid fault protection, power flow control, and power quality improvement. A T-breaker features a modular multilevel “T” structure with integrated energy storage devices. The two horizontal arms of the T-breaker realize fault current breaking, load voltage compensation, and power flow control; and the vertical arm of the T-breaker realizes shunt compensation. The configuration provides excellent voltage scalability and relaxes the requirements on the switching signal synchronization during fault transients. The local energy storage in sub-modules eases the fault energy dissipation requirement placed on the traditionally-adopted surge arrestors. The modular multilevel structure also offers immense control flexibility for all types of targeted functions of the provided T-breaker.

  • Patent number: 11972782
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating individualized content trailers. Content such as a video is divided into segments each representing a set of common features. With reference to a set of stored user preferences, certain segments are selected as aligning with the user's interests. Each selected segment may then be assigned a label corresponding to the plot portion or element to which it belongs. A coherent trailer may then be assembled from the selected segments, ordered according to their plot elements. This allows a user to see not only segments containing subject matter that aligns with their interests, but also a set of such segments arranged to give the user an idea of the plot, and a sense of drama, increasing the likelihood of engagement with the content.
