Abstract: A perspiration diverting headband is provided having a flexible tubing having a first and second end, an elastic band, wherein the band is disposed within the tubing, a first connector coupled to a first end of the tubing, and a second connector coupled to a second end of the tubing, wherein the first and second connector secure the elastic band and tubing, and a slidable tension fastener configured to secure the elastic band. In addition, the tubing can be flexible tubing that is cylindrical in cross-section. Further, the flexible tubing can be configured to divert perspiration fluids away from a forehead region to a temple region of a user's head. Further, the headband can be simple to use and adjust, simple to manufacture, made of light weight moisture resistant and anti-microbial material, hygienic, and can be customized and configured to any shape, color, or design.
Abstract: A bicycle shoe cleat positioning device for use in determining the position of a bicycle shoe cleat is provided. The bicycle shoe cleat positioning device comprises a base portion, a holding portion connected to the base portion, a coupler configured to connect to the holding portion, a cleat connector, a connecting member, and a cleat positioning assembly. The cleat positioning assembly comprises a first positioner configured to determine a first position of the cleat connector about a first axis, a second positioner configured to determine a second position of the cleat connector along a second axis, and a third positioner configured to determine a third position of the cleat connector along a third axis.
Abstract: A protection device (1) shaped like a helmet, apt to be worn on by a health operator during surgery, comprising: —a main body (2) shaped as a helmet shielding the operator's head, which main body (2) is worn on jointly to a lens (200); and—means (3) for forced circulation of air in an internal environment (20) accommodating the operator's head and defined by said main body (2) and by the associated vision element (200), which forced circulation means (3) comprises air inletting means (31) and air suction means (32), the latter apt to cause an evacuation of exhausted air from the environment (20) accommodating the subject's head.

Abstract: A helmet has inner and outer shells separated by an array of springs to provide shock absorption. Each spring may be a single piece, or may be formed from two spring halves interconnected at their centers. The springs have arms preferably with a serpentine configuration to provide improved energy absorbing capability.
Abstract: A hair knotting system comprises one or more hair knotting apparatuses, installed along the feed direction of the thread, for knotting hair on a thread.
Abstract: Protective gear such as a helmet includes multiple shell layers connected using one or more concertinaed structures. The concertinaed structures allow the shell layers greater flexibility to move relative to each other when mechanical forces are imparted onto the outer shell layer. When energy and impact transformer layers are disposed between the shell layers, the concertinaed structures may also allow improvement function of the energy and impact transformer layers.
Abstract: A helmet including a body, an outer shell having an inner surface and an outer surface and a plurality of shock absorbers, the shock absorbers being positioned internal of the outer shell. A first set of shock absorbers has a first shock absorption characteristic and a second set of shock absorbers has a second shock absorption characteristic, the second shock absorption characteristic being different than the first shock absorption characteristic.
Abstract: A shirt-collar stabilizer may include a collar stand surround, a first collar insert rotatably coupled to a first end of the collar stand surround, and a second collar insert rotatably coupled to a second end of the collar stand surround.
Abstract: A mandible shield comprises at least one panel having a peripheral edge, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The at least one panel is comprised of a ballistics material. A frame is coupled to the at least one panel and covers the peripheral edge of the at least one panel. The frame has at least one window exposing at least a portion of the outer surface of the at least one panel. The frame is configured to at least partially extend over a mandible of a user when the frame is coupled to opposing lateral sides of a helmet.
