Abstract: Methods, systems and articles of manufacture for automatic generation of executable instructions based on a tax worksheet publication. Electronic data of the tax worksheet publication is received from a source such as a tax authority, converted into a different format and parsed, e.g., in the form of a parse tree or typed relationship graph. An interactive tax worksheet application embodying an executable instruction is generated based at least in part upon parsed electronic data.

Abstract: In response to detecting that a battery level of a first computing device is below a threshold level, a computer system determines that a second computing device is within a threshold distance of the first computing device. In response to the determining that the second computing device is within the threshold distance of the first computing device, the computer system creates a reference identifier (ID) and transmits information corresponding to the reference ID to the second computing device. In response to detecting a usage of the information corresponding to the reference ID by the second computing device, the computer system transmits a request for authentication information. In response to determining that authentication is successful, the computer system transmits a payment from an account associated with a user of the first computing device to an account associated with a recipient.

Abstract: A method for systems integration to create an end-to-end view includes obtaining a status of an invoice from an accounting data repository, generating a visualization for the invoice showing the status, and obtaining, from a payment system and based on the status indicating a payment on the invoice, monetary transaction records that match the invoice. The method further includes aggregating the monetary transaction records to update the status of the invoice after the status indicates the payment on the invoice, and updating the visualization with the status of the invoice to show the end-to-end view of the invoice.

Abstract: A system and method for trading securities that include at least one options leg is provided. The system generally includes a database, handlers, a network and at least one server. The database stores user information, security information and transaction information. The handlers receive information feeds from at least one public exchange. The at least one server implements an exchange facility that is capable of exchanging information with client terminals to allow the client to initiate at least one offer to trade a security having an option leg, identifying users interested in the offer, broadcasting the offer to the interested users and conducting a defined period auction among the interested users. The system and method also automatically cross the options legs on exchanges and facilitate negotiation when the auction is not consummated.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a computer and network architecture configured to provide one or more travel services to users. The one or more travel services may enable the user to obtain funds in the event that the user's financial cards and/or cash are lost or stolen while the user is travelling. Additionally, the one or more travel services may enable the user to obtain a temporary form of identification if the user's passport or other form of identification are lost or stolen while travelling. Other travel services may that may be provided include a financial card cancellation service, a credit bureau alert service, a prepaid card service, or other services that enable a user to recover from an emergency situation that arises while the user is travelling.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a money transfer network system that improves the performance of money transfer services provided via the money transfer network system and improves the performance of the underlying devices utilized to provide money transfer services. In particular, disclosed embodiments of a money transfer network system provide money transfer services that enable multiple users to engage in money transfer transactions as either a sending party or a receiving party in a manner that is similar to money transfer transactions executed between two users individually. Disclosed embodiments further enable a receiving party to request payment from a sending party, which may include scheduling recurring payments to be made via money transfer transactions.

Abstract: A system for providing notifications to client devices that includes one or more processors and one or more storage devices. The storage devices may store instructions that, when executed, configure the processors to perform operations. The operations include receiving a transaction notification from a third party; identifying a user account associated with the transaction notification; generating a push notification with a payload describing instructions to display a message and an interactive icon, and a resource identifier associated with the interactive icon, where the resource identifier includes a message ID encoding an interactive session and an action ID encoding a requested action. The operations also include transmitting the push notification to a client device associated with the user account; receiving a first indication indicating a user interaction with the interactive icon, the first indication having the resource identifier and updating the user account based on the action request.

Abstract: An embodiment method for managing geographic information includes receiving, at a service portal, executed lease data for mineral rights leases on associated first land parcels, generating first map data according to the executed lease data, and sending the first map data through a network interface to a client application for display to a first user at a first remote terminal. The method further includes receiving, from the first remote terminal, data for a proposed division order boundary, determining one or more of the first land parcels having boundaries that at least partly overlap the proposed division order boundary, generating division order data related to portions of the one or more first land parcels, and sending the division order data to the first remote terminal for display to the user.

Abstract: Embodiments of the transmission latency leveling apparatuses, methods and systems provide an electronic bidding order management infrastructure, such as a “point-of-presence,” which receives and routes electronic trading orders from different trading entities at a server via a transmission medium to create a certain amount of transmission latency before the trading orders could arrive at and be executed at electronic exchanges to reduce latency arbitrage and/or order book arbitrage that may be experienced by high frequency trading participants. A similar transmission latency may be applied to the egress transmission of market data updates issued by an electronic exchange. Other techniques for facilitating electronic trading are also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed are a system and a method for purchasing items from a merchant system using friction-less payment processing technology. A user initiates a purchase transaction from a user interface of the merchant system by submitting an indication or intent to use payment proxy in lieu of payment information or login credentials or signing-into accounts. An auto-payment component then generates a payment request including the payment proxy and sends the request to a payment service system. The payment service system uses the payment proxy to identify a financial account associated with the customer and the merchant. The payment service system initiates a transfer of a payment amount associated with the purchase transaction from a financial account associated payment proxy to a financial account associated with the merchant system to pay for the purchase transaction.

Abstract: There is provided systems and method for unified payment account establishment and incorporation in a main payment account. A service provider, such as a payment provider, may offer merchants with a development kit that unifies payment methods between various merchants and the service provider so that users are provided with more easily established payment accounts with the merchants. The development kit may include an account establishment interface that may be utilized in a merchant ordering and payment application for a merchant. The interface may provide for establishment of a payment account with the merchant. When initially establishing the payment account, the user may generate a provisional account, which may be synchronized to a payment account the user has with the service provider. When synchronizing the two accounts, the user may transfer information to the merchant, which may be redacted to prevent the merchant from receiving sensitive information.

Abstract: In general, in one aspect, an installation file digitally signed with a first package signature is received. It is determined whether the received installation file includes a migration signature that covers the first package signature and that matches a second signature associated with an installed software application, to confirm that the received installation file includes a valid update related to the installed software application. The installed software application is updated from the received installation file when the migration signature is included.

Abstract: Described herein is a platform and method for generating a terminal location from transaction data. In some embodiments, location data is periodically provided to a service computer from multiple mobile devices. Additionally, transaction data related to terminals may be provided to the service provider by one or more entities. The service provider may be configured to match records in the received transaction data to records in the received location data to identify a set of potential terminal locations. In some embodiments, the set of potential terminal locations may be filtered according to one or more criteria. A terminal location may subsequently be approximated from the set of potential terminal locations.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for preparing reminders for calendar items (i.e., tasks). More specifically, a calendar item may be created using a calendar application or the like. Once created the reminder is strategically scheduled to provide the reminder to the user associated with the calendar item early enough such that the user can be reminded in a convenient and helpful manner, and will have a chance to perform any necessary tasks prior to the calendar item.

Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking, predicting, and mitigating Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attacks in a network include detecting, from monitoring, events related to one or more subscribed entities, wherein the monitoring includes two or more of analyzing traffic flow, analyzing virtual currency transactions, and monitoring information related to the one or more subscribed entities on the Internet; analyzing the events to determine a likelihood of an attack on a specific subscribed entity of the one or more subscribed entities; and causing mitigation of the attack based on the determined likelihood, wherein the mitigation comprises one or more actions in the network relative to the specific subscribed entity.

Each of the first plurality of individuals may be associated with a respective one or more accounts. The device may receive a request to match the individual and one or more individuals. The device may determine a match of the individual and the one or more individuals based on the information. The device may receive, from a user device associated with the individual, a selection of an account, of the respective one or more accounts, associated with another individual of the first plurality of individuals. The device may provide, for display to the other individual, a notification that the individual and the other individual have been matched and that the individual selected the account associated with the other individual. The device may perform one or more actions related to completing the transaction using the account.

Abstract: User devices are disclosed for managing a plurality of supplemental payment sources of a user. One method includes: generating and displaying a user interface prompting a user to input: an identifier of a primary payment source account for applying resources to transactions originating at one or more merchants, the primary payment source account being accounted for in a first data structure of a shared ledger and having its identifier linked with one or more supplemental payment source accounts; identifiers of one or more supplemental payment source accounts for applying resources to transactions originating at one or more merchants, the supplemental payment source accounts being accounted for in second and subsequent data structures of the shared ledger; and preference settings for applying resources of the primary payment source account and the supplemental payment source accounts to transactions, based on identities or categories of merchants involved in the transactions.

Abstract: Various embodiments are related to apparatuses and methods for authorizing a purchase transaction using a mobile device. A consumer can pay for a purchase from a seller using a payment object such as a credit card or automated teller machine (ATM) card. The credit card or ATM card can be swiped through a card reader that is part of the seller's sales system, and the sales system can transmit the purchase transaction to a financial system for approval. The consumer can use a mobile device such as a smartphone, instead of the seller's keypad or signature pad, to electronically capture a signature or personal identification number (PIN) as part of the consumer's authorization of the purchase transaction. The consumer can further use the mobile device to review line items of the purchase transaction or to add a tip amount to the total amount of the purchase transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing a plurality of supplemental payment sources of a user. One method includes: receiving a primary payment source account of a user for a purchase transaction originating at the merchant, the primary payment source account having an identifier associated with one or more supplemental payment source accounts; receiving supplemental payment source accounts of a user for applying to a payment transaction originating at the merchant; receiving, from a user device, preference settings to apply one or more of the supplemental payment source accounts to a payment transaction; receiving a transaction authorization request from the merchant or merchant acquirer for a transaction amount; and determining a combination of payment source accounts to use in the payment transaction, from a group comprising one or more supplemental payment source accounts and the primary payment source account, and any of one or more preference settings.

Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating a user, the method including receiving an image of a user of a device, identifying a first facial descriptor of the user from the received image and from previously captured images of the user, and determining a difference between the first facial descriptor from the received image and that from the previously captured images. The method further includes identifying a second facial descriptor of a non-user from the previously captured images of the user, and applying facial recognition to images stored in a plurality of second social networking profiles associated with a first social networking profile of the user to identify the second facial descriptor from the images stored in the second social networking profiles. Based on the difference and the second facial descriptor, the user may be authenticated.
