  • Patent number: 11766792
Abstract: A blade replacement apparatus of an electric instrument is provided. The blade replacement apparatus includes a nut, a nut loosening/tightening member, a locking member, and an operating member. One of the nut loosening/tightening member and the operating member has a first matching portion, the locking member having a second matching portion. The operating member is movable between an operating position and a non-operating position. When the operating member is in the non-operating position, the first matching portion engages with the second matching portion, and the rotation of the nut loosening/tightening member is obstructed by the locking member. When the operating member is in the operating position, the first matching portion is disengaged from the second matching portion, and the rotation of the nut loosening/tightening member tightens or loosens the nut.

  • Patent number: 11731293
Abstract: A bolster-actuated folding knife may have a folding knife blade whose opening and closing is controlled by an actuator on the knife's handle. This bolster-actuator may rotate in either of two rotational directions about the same pivot as the knife blade. When a user rotates the bolster-actuator in one direction, the bolster's pin may impinge via direct contact with the knife blade forcing the knife blade fully open. When a rotates the bolster-actuator in the opposite direction bolster-actuator rotation and thus bolster pin deflection may cause the knife's locking tab to disengage from a cutout in the knife blade, unlocking the knife blade from its fully locked-open position and urging the knife blade to close. Thus, the bolster-actuated folding knife may provide a convenient means to open and close a locking, folding knife with only one hand, and without substantial interference with the knife's aesthetic appeal.

  • Patent number: 11673282
Abstract: Sensor-based shaving systems and methods of analyzing a user's shave event are described for determining a unique threshold value of the user. A grooming device comprises a handle having a connecting structure connected to a hair cutting implement. A shave event sensor associated with the grooming device measures a user behavior, which includes collecting a first dataset comprising shave data defining a shave event. The first dataset is transmitted via a communication device and is analyzed to determine baseline behavior data of the user, and a unique threshold value of the user is determined from the baseline behavior data. One or more subsequent datasets, each comprising shave data of one or more corresponding shave events, is compared to the unique threshold value to determine comparison data. An indication is provided, based on the comparison data, to indicate a deviation from the threshold value and to influence the user behavior.

  • Patent number: 11673178
Abstract: An adjustment device of a punching device punches a workpiece on a die so that the workpiece is punched into a predetermined shape. The adjustment device includes a first drive mechanism that moves the punch or the die in a direction orthogonal to a punching direction, and a controller connected to the first drive mechanism. The controller brings the punch and the die into contact with each other by moving the punch or the die in four orthogonal directions in a plane perpendicular to the punching direction from an initial position where the punch is inserted into the punching die. The controller causes the first drive mechanism to move the punch or the die to a center position where a central axis of the punch and a central axis of the die are aligned with other.
