  • Patent number: 12277584
Abstract: An online concierge system receives orders from users identifying items and a warehouses from which the items are obtained. The online concierge system displays groups of one or more orders to shoppers, allowing a shopper to select a group of orders for fulfillment. When selecting groups of orders to display to shoppers, the online concierge system accounts for costs for fulfilling different groups and displays groups having costs satisfying one or more criteria, while maintaining one or more restrictions on times to fulfill orders. The online concierge system trains a selection prediction model to predict an amount of time for a shopper to select a group of orders and determines an estimated fulfillment time for the group from the predicted amount of time. Accounting for the predicted selection time allows the online concierge system to identify a larger number of groups for which costs of fulfillment are determined.

  • Patent number: 12223541
Abstract: A virtual try-on system includes one or more hardware processors configured to function as a learning unit, an acquisition unit, a deriving unit, and a generation unit. The learning unit learns, by machine learning using three-dimensional data of a try-on person, a learning model using a teacher try-on person image as input data, and using a body shape parameter indicating a body shape of the try-on person represented by the teacher try-on person image and compositing position information of a clothing image in the teacher try-on person image as output data. The acquisition unit acquires a try-on person image. The deriving unit derives output data of the try-on person represented by the try-on person image using the try-on person image and the learning model. The generation unit generates a virtual try-on image by compositing the try-on person image and the clothing image using the derived output data.

  • Patent number: 12131358
Abstract: In an online concierge system, a shopper retrieves items specified in an order by a customer from a retail location. The online concierge system optimizes order fulfillment by selecting a retail location for an order that is most time-efficient and that is most likely to have each of the item in the order available. Hence, the online concierge system may select a less convenient retail location that is more likely to have each item being ordered available. To predict whether a retail location incompletely fulfill the order if selected to fulfill the order, the online concierge system trains a machine learning model based on prior orders fulfilled by the retail location, a shopper retrieving items in the order, items in the order, and other features.
