Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems for facilitating a customer's online purchase of school supplies listed on one or more generic teacher school supply lists using an online store's website. The computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems provide a user access to select one or more teacher's generic school supply lists from a plethora of generic school supply lists. Online retailer's products are indexed against items on the teacher's generic school supply list so that after user selection of a particular teacher's generic school list, the user is provided with one or more graphical user interfaces identifying all matching items of the retailer for a given teacher's school supply list. The customer is presented with one or more graphical user interfaces that allow the user to purchase the matching items. UPC codes can be used to index a retailer's product to a corresponding item on a teacher's generic school supply list.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for management and delivery of shoppable content data. A modeled content architecture can be provided within a content management system (CMS), such as for example, an Oracle Content and Experience Cloud (CEC) environment. The modeled content architecture can include document-type objects that represent a type of document, and field objects that represent a type of field that can be added to a document. The document-type objects and field objects can include attributes that describe the objects. An admin API operates as a contract between the CMS and a commerce provider system, for example an online retailer, and facilitates communication and data exchange between the CMS and the commerce provider.

Abstract: One disclosed system includes a processor, a network interface in communication with the processor, a data storage device in communication with the processor, and computer-executable instructions stored in computer storage. The instructions are configured, when executed by the processor, to cause computer hardware to perform operations comprising: (1) matching a consumer lead comprising information about a consumer with one or more vendors selected from a set of vendors identified in data records stored on the data storage device; (2) sending, via the network interface, the lead to the matched vendors; (3) receiving a real-time indication of a rejection from one of the matched vendors; (4) matching the lead with a replacement vendor; and (5) sending the lead to the replacement vendor.

In an implementation, the mobile electronic device includes a memory, and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The mobile electronic device also includes an aggregator module stored in memory and executable by the processor. The module is also configured to instruct the processor to aggregates the product information with applicant information to generate a commercial application relating to the product, the commercial application comprising an application for services from at least one a lending entity, an insurance entity, or a third-party service entity. The module is also configured to instruct the processor to cause transmission of the commercial application to a central server. The commercial application is accessible to the at least one of the lending entity, the insurance entity, or the third-party service entity.

Abstract: An event servicing (ES) computing device for targeting ancillary merchants based on wallet events is provided. The ES computing device receives primary purchase data for a primary purchase made by a user with a primary merchant, and determines and displays to the user one or more secondary merchants based at least in part on the primary purchase data. The ES computing device further receives secondary purchase data for at least one secondary purchase made by the user from the one or more secondary merchants and determines whether the user has requested to cancel the primary purchase. When the user has requested to cancel the primary purchase, the ES computing device automatically cancels the at least one secondary purchase. When the user has not requested to cancel the primary purchase, the ES computing device processes payment transactions for the primary purchase and the at least one secondary purchase.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for incorporating a wagering activity into an electronic commerce transaction. The system preferably includes a host device in communication with at least a user device and a merchant device via the Internet. If the merchant does not offer the wagering activity, the user may shop for items offered by the merchant via the host's website. When an item is selected by the user, the item is placed in the host's shopping cart (i.e., the host's virtual shopping cart on the merchant's website). If the user decides to participate in a wagering activity, user payment information is used to transfer funds (e.g., a wagering amount) to the host. If the user wins, host payment information is provided to the merchant and used to purchase the item from the merchant. The item is then provided (shipped) to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods of assisting in an electronic shopping experience are disclosed. A request may be received, from a user on a device having a user interface, to search for an item listed for sale in a marketplace. A balance amount of an account associated with or available to the user at the marketplace is displayed in the user interface. The search results are limited to at least one item having a sales price less than the displayed balance amount and the at least one item is displayed in the user interface. The account may be a user account at a payment service provider.

Abstract: Techniques for generating a web page and displaying an image in the web page may be provided. For example, the web page may include a placeholder for displaying the image. A service may be implemented to determine how many images and sizes of such images that should be made available for use in the placeholder. Further, the service may configure the web page to identify available images based on the determined number and sizes and to include a script for selecting one of the available images. Upon displaying the web page in a browser, the script may determine the size of the placeholder as displayed in the web page and may select one of the available images based on the determined placeholder size. The script may further cause the browser to download and display the selected image in the placeholder.

Abstract: A method is provided for making recommendations for a user of an activity tracking system. The method includes receiving activity data for the user over a period of days, the activity data collected by a geo-position device. The method further includes determining routine travel paths for the user based on the activity data, and then determining recommendations, the recommendations based at least in part on the routine travel paths of the user. In one scenario, a computer system receives user input including project information. The user input is converted into an electronic signal. The project information includes various user choices related to color profiles, and related to project materials or layout. The computer system determines a type of home project being pursued based on the received information. The computer system identifies products that correspond to the determined type of home project and received color profiles, and displays to the user images of the products that correspond to the determined type of home project and to the received color profiles.

Abstract: In some examples, a computing device exposes, to a merchant device, one or more Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for accessing a delivery service. The computing device receives, from the merchant device, via the one or more APIs, a request regarding delivery of an order specified by a customer for delivery from the merchant. The computing device may send a communication to a courier to instruct the courier to deliver the order. The computing device may receive, from the merchant device, via the one or more APIs, a request for a delivery status of the order received via a user interface. The computing device may determine the delivery status of the order based at least partially on location information received from the courier, and sends the delivery status to prompt the merchant device to present the delivery status in the user interface.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to techniques for providing retail customers a seamless, individualized discovery and shopping experience. With an improved shopper/customer accounting system, along with other technologies such as intelligent fixtures, mobile devices, and product simulations, a shopper's product discovery, purchase, and post-sale experience can be highly integrated and personalized. Abstract: Herein disclosed is a method and system to perform product delivery interception. In one implementation, a product delivery interceptor receives, from a purchaser, a request to determine availability of a product. The product delivery interceptor identifies a recipient of the product and transmits a bid for the product for consideration by the recipient. The product delivery interceptor acquires the recipient response to the bid and conveys an instruction to reroute delivery of the product to the purchaser if the recipient response indicates acceptance of the bid.

Abstract: Systems and methods for text-based secure order processing are disclosed. The system may receive an order initiation request from a user device. Based on the order initiation request, the system may retrieve a conversational order script having one or more scripted conversation prompts. The system may transmit the conversation prompts to the user device and receive one or more conversation responses from the user device. Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for bundling and arranging online content fragments for presentation based on content-specific metrics and inter-content constraints. For example, a content management application accesses candidate content fragments, a content-specific metric, and an inter-content constraint. The content management application computes minimum and maximum contribution values for the candidate content fragments. The content management application selects, based on the computed minimum and maximum contribution values, a subset of the candidate content fragments. The content management application applies, subject to the inter-content constraint, a bundle-selection function to the selected candidate content fragments and thereby identifies a bundle of online content fragments. The content management application outputs the identified bundle of online content fragments for presentation via an online service.
