  • Patent number: 11317298
Abstract: System having baseband units; a radio equipment controller module; radio equipment modules coupled to a physical antenna port having a slave port coupled to a master port of the radio equipment controller module or another radio equipment module. The radio equipment modules receive an uplink antenna-carrier stream from a physical antenna port and transmit the stream to its slave port and, if a master port is connected to another radio equipment module, it synchronizes and sums the stream with an uplink antenna-carrier stream from said master port, creating a summed uplink antenna-carrier stream transmitted to its slave port. The radio equipment modules receive a downlink antenna-carrier stream from the radio equipment controller module or another radio equipment module to its slave port for transmission to said physical antenna port and, if a master port is connected to another radio equipment module, forwards the downlink antenna-carrier stream to the master port.

  • Patent number: 11284333
Abstract: In an adaptive route wireless network and bi-directional protocol, each computing device along a route to a gateway appends the previous node's network address to downstream messages as they are transmitted along the route from an originating computing device to the gateway. The list of appended network addresses thus records the route taken by the downstream network message through the adaptive route network. A server computing device maintains a route table including the list of appended network addresses received with each downstream message. To send unsolicited upstream messages to any computing device on the wireless network, the server generates an upstream network message that includes the appended network address(es) from the portion of the route table corresponding to the destination computing device. The upstream route to the destination computing device is thus contained in the list of appended network addresses within the network message.

  • Patent number: 11283772
Abstract: The method and system enable secure forwarding of a message from a first computer to a second computer via an intermediate computer in a telecommunication network. A message is formed in the first computer or in a computer that is served by the first computer, and in the latter case, sending the message to the first computer. In the first computer, a secure message is then formed by giving the message a unique identity and a destination address. The message is sent from the first computer to the intermediate computer after which the destination address and the unique identity are used to find an address to the second computer. The current destination address is substituted with the found address to the second computer, and the unique identity is substituted with another unique identity. Then the message is forwarded to the second computer.

  • Patent number: 11277735
Abstract: A wireless access node controls Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) layers for a User Equipment (UE). A radio wirelessly exchanges user data with other UEs and exchanges the user data with baseband circuitry. The baseband circuitry exchanges the user data with network elements over backhaul links. The baseband circuitry determines a status of the backhaul links. The baseband circuitry identifies the radio band status for the UE. The baseband circuitry receives user data for the UE from the network elements over the backhaul links. The baseband circuitry selects a number of MIMO layers for the UE based on the radio band status and the backhaul status. The baseband circuitry precodes the user data into precoded data for the selected number of MIMO layers and transfers the precoded data to the radio. The radio wirelessly transmits the precoded data to the UE over the selected number of MIMO layers.

  • Patent number: 11240709
Abstract: Embodiments provide a data transmission method and a related device. Under the method, after determining a first data packet to be sent to a receive end, a transmit end may generate a second data packet based on the first data packet, encode the second data packet, and send an encoded second data packet. A length of the second data packet is greater than a length of the first data packet. In various embodiments, when sending a data packet to the receive end, the transmit end may generate a longer data packet from a shorter data packet through combination, and send the longer data packet to the receive end after channel coding. In this way, a relatively high channel coding gain can be obtained during data transmission, and a relatively high bit error rate of short packet transmission is avoided, so that data transmission reliability can be improved.

  • Patent number: 11240830
Abstract: Methods, devices, and computer program products concerning accommodating ultra-reliable low latency communications (URLLC) traffic by making a determination of which mobile broadband (MBB) user equipment (UE) to puncture, where in response to an indication that URLLC traffic needs to be scheduled in the midst of ongoing MBB transmissions in a wireless communications network, the determination is made from a plurality of MBB UEs with the ongoing MBB transmissions, of a set of the plurality scheduled for transmission in a slot required by the URLLC traffic. From that set of MBB UEs, a subset of MBB UEs for puncturing is chosen, where that choice is made at least in relation to accommodating a reliability constraint of the URLLC traffic, maximizing a sum proportional fairness metric of the plurality of MBB UEs, and minimizing a block error rate in a computation of a proportional fairness metric for each UE of the subset.
