Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device in which a processing system facilitates performance of operations including obtaining content for presentation to audience members, generating versions of the content, storing the versions in a library, and configuring a presentation of the content at a presentation device. The system detects characteristics of the audience members; if an appropriate version for an audience member is not available in the library, the system generates a customized version. A set of versions is presented simultaneously to the audience members, each of whom accordingly experiences a presentation version. The system receives data regarding real-time reactions of each audience member to the presentation version. An alternate presentation version, which can include a real-time adjustment of the content, is provided based on the reaction data of an audience member and presented to the audience member. Abstract: An advertisement scheduler receives a commercial break schedule generated from a completed assignment of one or more spots that correspond to the deals comprising advertiser's orders to place the spots into one or more commercial breaks in the commercial break schedule based on constraints and placement requirements. The advertisement scheduler may determine representative liability per pending spot for the deals and reshuffle the placement of the spots based on the representative liability of the deals in order to minimize liability associated with the deals. The advertisement scheduler may reshuffle the placement of the spots for maximum delivery of candidate deals, where the reshuffle is based on a forecast of expected viewership associated with the deals, and a pacing computation of cumulative demographics guaranteed at a particular point in time, modify the forecast based on weighting factor, and generate a finalized commercial break schedule based on the reshuffling.

The method includes steps of: by a multimedia content provider, uniformly completing full file content when producing a multimedia file, and classifying segments of the content through a marking method according to an importance and/or an association degree of the content, so as to produce different versions of the multimedia file; and selectively previewing and/or playing by a user according to the different versions. To accomplish this both the Playout software and server hardware are tightly integrated in on-premise implementations. Playout systems on the cloud allow for leveraging cloud servers dynamically for running Playout systems. The present invention proposes a system and method redundant, cost-effective for time-advanced, server-independent cloud Playout, which is useful in a variety of scenarios including but not limited to accomplishing seamless redundancy, optimizing operating costs by choosing different service provider/regions/servers. This is achieved by pre-playing the channel ahead of schedule, and then passing it to the output through an intelligent delay buffer.

Abstract: The present invention suggests a method for transmitting a broadcasting signal. The method for transmitting a broadcasting signal, according to the present invention, suggests a system capable of supporting a next-generation broadcasting service in an environment which supports next-generation hybrid broadcasting, using a terrestrial broadcasting network and an Internet network. The media guidance application may detect that a command was received to delete a first media asset from storage. In response to detecting the command, the media guidance application may determine a viewing pattern for the first media asset associated with a subset of users in a plurality of users, where the subset of users consumed the first media asset. The media guidance application may retrieve viewing commands associated with a second media asset performed by the subset of users, where the second media asset is related to the first media asset. The media guidance application may determine whether the viewing commands satisfy the viewing pattern. And in response to determining that the commands satisfy the viewing pattern, the media guidance application may delete the second media asset from storage.
