The hammer provides for a head with a keyed hole to couple to a keyed projection on a striking insert. The head also includes a dovetail projection that couples to the dovetail connection of the claw. Each component may comprise a different material. For example, the striking insert and the claw comprise one material, and the handle and the head comprise another material. In some embodiments, a slotted punch with a magnetic retainer creates a bore through the face of the head and the striking insert to support a fastener (e.g., a nail) within the head.

The present invention includes a upper housing, a lower housing and an inner guide conduit system, a portion of each define a jack support chamber and a viewing chamber, wherein the jack support chamber is adapted to house a hollow body jack and the viewing chamber is adapted to provide a view of the shaft while being removed from the shaft housing. One embodiment further includes an extension rod that may be secured at a first end to the drive shaft and secured at a second end to a piston of a hollow body jack so that when actuated the jack will remove the shaft from the shaft housing without damaging the engine or the gear housing.

    Abstract: An embossing device that serves for preparation of a combined form-fit and friction-fit clamping of a workpiece in a respective clamping chuck. The embossing device includes jaws having embossing teeth that are formed on insertion bodies. The insertion bodies include a penetration edge respectively with which they penetrate into the workpiece surface in order to create a depression with defined dimensions. For this a workpiece contact surface is formed on the insertion body, preferably in the proximity to the bar-like projection that stops the penetration process of the bar-like projection as soon as the workpiece contact surface gets in contact with the workpiece surface during the execution of the embossing process. Then the force required for movement of the jaw increases considerably from which a control device generates a switch-off signal for the operation device.
