Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for a set of central controllers that manages forwarding elements operating in a plurality of datacenters. The method receives a configuration for a bridge between (i) a logical L2 network that spans at least two datacenters and (ii) a physical L2 network. The configuration specifies a particular one of the datacenters for implementation of the bridge. The method identifies multiple managed forwarding elements that implement the logical L2 network and are operating in the particular datacenter. The method selects one of the identified managed forwarding elements to implement the bridge. The method distributes bridge configuration data to the selected managed forwarding element.

Abstract: Upon receiving, from UE (200), SCG Failure Information that indicates that a radio link failure has occurred in a secondary cell group, eNB (100A) transmits, to gNB (100B), Secondary Node Modification Request to instruct to release a resource of a split bearer of only a predetermined layer and the layers below thereof in the secondary cell group. Based on the received Secondary Node Modification Request, the gNB (100B) releases the resource of the split bearer below the predetermined layer in the secondary cell group. The eNB (100A) deletes setting itself of the secondary cell group when a bearer belonging to the secondary cell group other than the split bearer is not set.

  • Patent number: 11317323
Abstract: In one implementation, load balancing within a constellation of communications satellites is performed. Anticipated positions of satellites are determined. Each satellite is configured to provide multiple beams that define a coverage footprint for the satellite. Based on the anticipated positions of the satellites, it is determined that a first coverage footprint for a first satellite provides primary coverage of a high traffic region and portions of the first coverage footprint for the first satellite also will be covered by coverage footprints for other satellites. Based on these determinations, a beam assignments are defined in which a first subset of beams of the first satellite configured to provide coverage of a first portion of the first coverage footprint are inactive and a second subset of beams of the second satellite are active. The second subset of beams of the second satellite provide coverage within the first portion of the first coverage footprint.

  • Patent number: 11309999
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide improved repetition techniques for autonomous uplink transmissions. Configuration information may be provided from a base station to a user equipment (UE) for autonomous uplink transmissions, that may indicate initial resources for an initial uplink transmission slot and retransmission resources for a number of retransmissions. Time resources within the retransmission resources may be configured to provide enhanced reliability, such as by being configured in non-contiguous slots to avoid one or more other transmission channels. Time resources within slots may also be configured to prevent persistent collisions with autonomous uplink transmissions or retransmissions of two or more different UEs.

  • Patent number: 11277342
Abstract: A lossless data traffic deadlock management system includes a first networking device coupled to a second networking device and a third networking device. The first networking device provide a lossless data traffic flow on a first data traffic path via the second networking device and to a destination. The first networking device then receives a congestion communication from the second networking device that is indicative of a deadlock associated with the second networking device. In response, the first networking device identifies the first data traffic path as a congested route, and the identification of the first data traffic path as the congested route causes the first networking device to provide the lossless data traffic flow on a second data traffic path via the third networking device to the destination.

Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE) and methods of communication are generally described herein. The UE may, if a regular buffer status report (BSR) is triggered and a logical channel scheduling request (SR) delay timer is not running, and if available uplink shared channel (UL-SCH) data resources do not meet one or more logical channel prioritization (LCP) mapping restrictions configured for a logical channel of uplink data: trigger a scheduling request to request UL-SCH data resources for a new transmission of uplink data. Currently pending SRs and BSRs may not be cancelled after assembly of a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU), but may be cancelled at a later time when a MAC PDU including a BSR is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 11265917
Abstract: Aligned listen before talk (LBT) gaps for single operator frame-based equipment (FBE) mode new radio (NR) shared spectrum (NR-SS) is disclosed. Within the FBE mode network, the base station determines a plurality of potential transmission bursts within a fixed frame period. The base station may then reserve a plurality of LBT gaps prior to the starting position of each such transmission burst. The base station communicates the location of each of the LBT gaps to all neighboring network entities and contends for access to the fixed frame period at the beginning of the frame regardless of whether it has data for transmission during the frame. Each neighboring base station that receives the LBT gaps locations will use the same locations in order to align the LBT gaps over the FBE mode network.
