    Abstract: A two-part adjustable-height insert may be installed in a bore of a sandwich panel, such that the adjustable-height insert may be configured to transfer a load to the sandwich panel. The adjustable-height insert may include a first insert part and a second insert part that may be selectively operatively positioned with respect to each other. The adjustable-height insert may be configured such that an interference fit between the first insert part and the second insert part may be engaged by moving a second flange of the second insert part towards a first flange of the first insert part, which may thereby reduce the overall height of the adjustable-height insert to a selected height. Presently disclosed adjustable-height inserts may be configured for flush installation in a sandwich panel. Methods of installing such adjustable-height inserts and adjusting the height of the same are also disclosed.

The core material has a first main flat surface that is exposed to the relatively high temperature side when in use and a second main flat surface that faces the first main flat surface and is exposed to the relatively low temperature side when in use. At least a part of the sealed portion is arranged on the second main flat surface side.

The floormat is formed, at least in part, of compressible and resilient material. An absorbent sheet is attached to one of the opposing surfaces of the floormat. At least part of the absorbent sheet is stacked to extend peripherally beyond the floormat. The floormat and absorbent sheet are placed where a user is expected to stand during the procedure, and are stacked with at least part of the absorbent sheet extending beyond the floormat. A user stands atop the floormat and absorbent sheet during at least part of the procedure. During the procedure, fluids that fall onto the absorbent sheet are absorbed into it. The floormat and absorbent sheet are vacated and discarded before starting another procedure.

Yet another aspect includes trimming the web down to the noodle, while trimming through the noodle according to a trim radius to a height proximate the base flange.
