Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an oven having a guide member capable of automatically withdrawing an oven rack from the inside of a cooking chamber when a door is opened and a rail detachably coupled to the cooking chamber and the oven rack to move the oven rack in the front-rear direction. The oven includes a main body, a cooking chamber provided inside the main body and having an open front side, a door rotatably coupled to the main body to open and close the cooking chamber, an oven rack provided inside the cooking chamber to be movable in the front-rear direction and supporting a plurality of shelves, and a guide member connected to the oven rack according to opening and closing of the door to guide the oven rack to be moved in the front-rear direction, and separated from the oven rack when the door is completely opened.

Abstract: A method for managing temperature within a charcoal grill system includes: receiving a target grill temperature for a cooking chamber within the charcoal grill system; in response to receiving an ignition trigger, entering an ignition mode; during the ignition mode, activating an igniter within the charcoal grill system to ignite a charcoal cartridge arranged in a cartridge chamber within the charcoal grill system and activating a stoke fan coupled to the cartridge chamber to accelerate combustion of the charcoal cartridge; monitoring a temperature inside the charcoal grill system; in response to the temperature inside the charcoal grill system exceeding an ignition temperature, entering a temperature management mode; and during the temperature management mode, selectively activating the stoke fan and the cooling fan to maintain the cooking chamber at approximately the target grill temperature.

Abstract: A universal device for the automation of gas-powered ovens, barbecues and devices is provided that includes a variable gas intake valve housed in a module of a valve having means for valve coupling to a gas inlet hose of the oven, barbecue or device. An electronic board housed in a module of control is linked to the valve and drives the opening of the gas flow by means of an output signal supplied by the gas intake valve. The electronic board is provided with a connection with at least a probe of room temperature located within the chamber of the oven, barbecue, or device. The module of control includes control means and a power supply.

Abstract: A solar water pasteurizer has a water jug removably disposed in a solar box with insulation and a solar window. The water jug has a lid to close an aperture in the solar box and a handle thermally isolated from the water jug to facilitate handling of the water jug with heated water. Multiple water jugs can be swapped in and out of the solar box. The solar box also has a thermal mass to preserve some heat in the solar box.

Abstract: An apparatus for preparing food includes a food preparation chamber with an air-permeable bottom wall and an upper air discharge opening, a fan for moving hot air successively through the bottom wall, the food preparation chamber and the discharge opening, an air channel for returning the air from the discharge opening towards the bottom wall separate from the food preparation chamber, a heat radiator positioned in the upper part of the food preparation chamber and an air guide below the food preparation chamber and on top of a bottom part for directing the air flow essentially upwards into food present in the food preparation chamber. The air guide includes at least one air guide rib arranged along a curved line extending substantially towards a central region of the bottom part, where the air guide rib has a concave side which includes an angle with the bottom part smaller than 90°.

Abstract: A modular smoker assembly includes a heat pot that is fillable with a combustible material to produce smoke for smoking food items when the combustible material is burned. A plurality of cooking pots is provided and respective ones of the cooking pots are stackable on top of each other for positioning on the heat pot. In this way each of the cooking pots is in fluid communication with the heat pot to receive the smoke for cooking. Food items are positionable in the cooking pots to cook the food item with the smoke. A lid bucket is positionable on top of a topmost one of the cooking pots when the cooking pots are stacked on the heat pot to retain heat in the cooking pots.

Abstract: Falling particle solar receivers, systems, and methods are disclosed that include one non-linear falling particle curtain or two or more falling particle curtains within a solar receiver that receives incident solar radiation. The particles heated in the solar receiver may be used to heat a secondary fluid. In an embodiment, the particles may be recirculated to improve energy capture and thermal efficiency. In other embodiments, an air curtain may be used across the aperture of the receiver, and flow-control devices may be used to evenly spread particles across the width of the receiver inlet. Finally, feed particles may be preheated using heat from the solar receiver.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a multi-heat source apparatus. The multi heat source may include a fire pit and is configured to provide ambient heating with both convection heat transfer and radiation heat transfer. The multi-heat source apparatus comprises an infrared emitter for generating infrared radiation. The multi-heat source apparatus comprises a shielding member between a heat source for the convection heat transfer and another heat source for radiation heat transfer.

Abstract: A cooktop for an appliance includes a cooktop base surface that defines an edge. A cooktop burner is mounted on the cooktop base surface. A support base is rigidly fixed with the cooktop base surface adjacent the edge. A grate is rotatably supported to the support base and is rotatable between a raised position and a lowered position to alternately cover and uncover the cooking burner. A biasing member is coupled to the support base and exerts an upward biasing force on the grate.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a mobile heating apparatus for heating an enclosed space to a temperature sufficient to kill bed bugs. The mobile heating apparatus has a recirculation chamber having a fresh air inlet configured to receive fresh air from a fresh air area and a recirculation air inlet configured to receive recirculation air from a heated air area. The fresh air area is located outside of the area to be heated. The heated air area is located within the area to be heated. The apparatus also has an air mixture/circulation apparatus configured to mix the fresh air and the recirculation air and an air heating chamber having a heat exchanger. A mixed air inlet is in communication with the air mixture/circulation apparatus. A heated air outlet is configured to route the heated air into the heated air area. A heating apparatus is configured to provide heated combustion flow to the heat exchanger. The present invention also provides for a related method.

Abstract: The present fire pit system includes a fire pit stand including a body including a plurality of openings, wherein the walls of a fire pit body can rest upon the fire pit stand. The fire pit stand protects below surfaces (e.g., floor, ground, etc.) from high heat. The openings in the fire pit stand increase airflow. The fire pit stand fits inside the fire pit body creating a portable unit. When the fire pit is being assembled, the fire pit stand can be removed from inside the fire pit body, placed on the ground, and the fire pit body can be placed on top of the fire pit stand.

Abstract: A cooking device. A connection mechanism is rigidly attached to the underside of a grill. A plurality of legs is attached to the grill for support. A stove having cookware support extensions is attached to the grill and supported by the connection mechanism. The connection mechanism positions the cookware support extensions tightly against the underside of the grill for optimum heat transfer. In a preferred embodiment, the cooking device is small, lightweight and easily portable.

Abstract: A home cooking appliance includes a cooking compartment, a gas burner tube in the cooking compartment, a gas supply orifice holder coupled to a gas supply line at a first end and having a gas supply orifice at a second end. The gas supply orifice is configured to inject gas from the gas supply line into the gas burner tube. The home cooking appliance further includes an anti-rotational housing fixing a position of the gas supply orifice holder with respect to the gas burner tube.

Abstract: A fire pit includes a main body having a double outer wall that defines an air inlet. An accessory support post is received by the main body within the double outer wall. A locking projection and locking flange cooperate to lock the vertical and rotational position of the support post with respect to the main body of the fire pit. A floating fire box is supported from above by a grilling flange that allows the fire box to move down when heated. The accessory post can be used with a post holder next to a camp fire. The post holder and accessory post use of the locking projection and locking flange to secure the accessory post with respect to the holder. A grill having an outer body member protects the user's finger from engaging sharp edges of an expanded metal grill.

Abstract: A flame powered intermittent pilot combustion controller may include a first power source and a second power source separate from the first power source, a thermal electric and/or photoelectric device, an igniter and a controller. The thermal electric and/or photoelectric device may charge the first power source when exposed to a flame. The controller and the igniter may receive power from the first power source when the first power source has sufficient available power, and may receive power from the second power source when the first power source does not have sufficient available power.

Abstract: The present device is a fluid bed regenerative thermal oxidizer configured to minimize dead spaces within it and eliminate the need for complex valve systems, which are typically required to move treated and untreated air across fixed beds. The present device can be a fluid bed regenerative thermal oxidizer comprising a vertical stack having a combustion chamber near its interior center and desorber shelves located within the vertical stack above the combustion chamber and adsorber shelves located within the vertical stack below the combustion shelves. Ceramic spheres can be used as heat sinks that flow from the desorber shelves, around the combustion chamber and onto the adsorber shelves and then back to the desorber shelves. In this way heat from the combustion can be captured by the heat exchange material on the desorber shelves and released to preheat untreated air on the adsorber shelves.

Abstract: A portable outdoor cooker may include a cooking chamber and a burn chamber each configured to be removably operably coupled to each other. The portable outdoor cooker may be configured to be selectively transitioned between a deployed use configuration in which the cooking chamber and the burn chamber are removably operably coupled to each other and a collapsed non-use configuration in which the cooking chamber and the burn chamber are decoupled from each other. When the portable outdoor cooker is in the collapsed non-use configuration, the cooking chamber is capable of receiving and housing the entire burn chamber therein such that, when the entire burn chamber is placed within the cooking chamber and a top hood of the cooking chamber is in a closed position, the entire burn chamber is capable of being stowed within the cooking chamber beneath the top hood.
