  • Patent number: 10263935
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for defining a message behavior profile for a sender, which may be used to categorize messages from the sender. A message behavior profile may be defined based upon, for example, message distribution behavior of the sender (e.g., volume, frequency, variance in content amongst messages sent to recipients, etc.); recipient interactions with messages from the sender (e.g., message read rates, message response rates, etc.); unsubscription options comprised within messages from the sender; and/or other factors. In this way, the message behavior profile and/or features extracted from a message may be used to categorize a message from the sender (e.g., newsletter, commercial advertisements, alert, social network etc.). Categorized messages may be organized into folders, displayed or hidden within views, and/or processed based upon their respective categorizations.

  • Patent number: 10218579
Abstract: Described is a system for analyzing network activities. Each pair of node interactions between nodes in the network is represented with a tensor. For each pair of node interactions, a mesostructure is inferred using tensor decomposition of the tensor, resulting in inferred mesostructures. A temporal network structure representing each pair of node interactions is determined using a set of parameters generated from the tensor decomposition, resulting in temporal network structures. A future data cascade in the network is predicted using the temporal network structures.

  • Patent number: 10178195
Abstract: An origin server has been registered, or is in the process of being registered, for a proxied service that includes changing Domain Name System (DNS) configurations such that certain network traffic is proxied at a proxy server instead of that traffic being received directly at the origin server. The service checks the configuration and determines if there is any flaw in the configuration that may cause information about the origin server (e.g., the IP address of the origin server) to be leaked. Upon finding a flaw in the configuration, the service may notify the origin server and/or the operator of the origin server that the information may be leaked.

  • Patent number: 10171314
Abstract: An apparatus for deriving quality data includes a processor and memory storing executable computer code causing the apparatus to at least perform operations including receiving a consistency check from a network device indicating a summary count obtained during a time period. The summary count specifies a number of data items of a service utilized/provided, within a given time period, to one or more communication devices of an entity. The consistency check also includes a raw count, obtained during a time window the expiration of which is subsequent to the time period, indicating a number of data items of the service utilized/provided, within the given time period, to the communication devices. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to determine whether a deviation between the summary count relative to the raw count is less than or equal to a threshold. Corresponding methods and computer program products are also provided.

  • Patent number: 10169479
Abstract: A proxy server for limiting Internet connection speed of visitors that pose a threat. The proxy server receives from a client device a request to perform an action on an identified resource that is hosted at an origin server for a domain. The proxy server receives the request as a result of a DNS request for the domain resolving to the proxy server. The origin server is one of multiple origin servers that belong to different domains that resolve to the proxy server and are owned by different entities. The proxy server analyzes the request to determine whether a visitor belonging to the request poses a threat. If the proxy server determines that the visitor poses a threat, the proxy server reduces the speed at which the proxy server processes the request while keeping a connection to the client device open.

  • Patent number: 10165074
Abstract: The present technology may monitor an asynchronous transaction based on a custom exit point. Once an asynchronous method to be monitored has been identified, the transition framework may be tracked while executing the asynchronous method call. Within a .NET framework, monitoring may include tracking a task object, continuation method calls at the completion of a method, and tracking the continuation method as it executes other code. The asynchronous method may then be correlated within a business transaction using the returned task object data.

  • Patent number: 10154088
Abstract: In a network of mobile agents, data integrity can be improved by providing an agent server that can migrate between devices operating in the region of interest (ROI). The agent server distributes agent clients onto devices in the ROI and provides agent server services to the agent clients, including receiving and storing data from the agents. When the agent server device is to leave the ROI, the agent server can migrate to any device executing an agent client and continue to provide the agent server services, including data collection and aggregation, from the device to which the agent server has migrated.

  • Patent number: 10129817
Abstract: The present application provides a near field information transmission method and system, an information transmitting client, an information receiving client, and an information system. The information transmitting client transmits an acquisition request to the information system. The information transmitting client receives a random number that corresponds to the acquisition request and is returned by the information system. The random number corresponds to the information of said information transmitting client. The information transmitting client uses the random number as a service set identifier of a hotspot, and the service set identifier is broadcast through a beacon frame of a wireless communication protocol. The present techniques conduct near field information transmission conveniently and accurately.
