  • Patent number: 11310305
Abstract: Systems and methods for locating microserver nodes in proximity to edge devices using georouting are disclosed. Microservers automatically form a global peer-to-peer network to serve edge functions and content to edge devices. Edge devices use HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to execute serverless functions or otherwise retrieve data from edge nodes and/or microservers located in proximity to the HTTP client. The cloud platform locates the nearest edge node and/or microserver. Edge devices georoute HTTP requests to the nearest edge node and/or microserver. Serverless functions are implemented in secure, isolated environments using a blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11265370
Abstract: A system includes a first data server storing a first data file for a user and a second data server storing a second data file for the user, wherein a pre-authorized secure connection can be established between the first data server and the second data server. The second data file receives a request for a first amount of data from the second data file and detects that the first amount of data is larger than a second amount of data in the second data file. The second user determines that the first data file at the first data server includes a third amount of data that equals or exceeds a difference between the first amount and the second amount, and receives a fourth amount of data that equals the difference from the first data server over the pre-authorized connection. In response, the second data server processes the request.

  • Patent number: 11256663
Abstract: Dynamic and selective compression for content caching is provided for improving content delivery over a digital network. The dynamic and selective compression increased server cache size for higher cache-hit ratios that offset delays associated with compressing and decompressing content. The dynamic compression involves switching between an available set of compression tools in order to compress different files with the compression tool that is optimal for that file. The selective compression involves selectively compressing the content or files with the optimal compression tool when at least a threshold amount of space savings is obtained in an acceptable amount of time. Thus, the caching server caches compressed copies of a first set of files compressed with a first compression tool, compressed copies of a second set of files compressed with a different second compression tool, and an uncompressed third set of files.

  • Patent number: 11258731
Abstract: Methods, systems, and software are disclosed herein for secured system access by means of a bot proxy for a bot within a group communication service. In an example embodiment, a bot within a selected group of a group communication service may receive a message from a user of the selected group. The bot may transmit, to a bot proxy node within a secured local network, information related to the message that is relevant to executing a selected command. The bot proxy node, in turn, may transmit an application programming interface (API) instruction to perform the selected command to a target server within the secured local network. The bot may send a response message, via the group communication service, to at least one user from the selected group based on a result of the selected command.

  • Patent number: 11253998
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a Web server (104, 60, 70) and a method therein of determining a trajectory for controlling of a robot device over a cloud interface. From a URI-encoded HTTP request (402) for the trajectory between a first pose and a second pose of the robot device, it is determined (S112, 408) the length of matching between cached trajectories and the trajectory requested. The longest length of matching is compared (S114, 410) to a minimal matching length (406), and if the longest length is longer than the minimal matching length, a HTTP response is sent (S122, 412) comprising the trajectory being determined. If the longest length is shorter than the minimal matching length, a HTTP request to calculate is sent (S116, 414). Currently available web service architecture can be reused, and easily up-scaled.

  • Patent number: 11233740
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for controlling a congestion window (CWND) value of a communication session of a CDN. In particular, a content server may analyze a request to determine or receive an indication of the type of content being requested. The content server may then set the initial CWND based on the type of content being requested. For example, the content server may set a relatively high CWND value for requested content that is not particularly large, such as image files or text, so that the data of the content is received at the client device quickly. For larger files or files that a have a determined smaller urgency, the initial CWND may be set at a lower value to ensure that providing the data of the content does not congest the link between the devices.
