  • Patent number: 10812627
Abstract: An application server provides an application or set of applications to one or more client devices. One or more users of the client devices interact with the applications to perform a business process. Data is stored on one or more of the client devices that tracks user interactions with the application. The data is transmitted from the client devices to the application server for analysis. Data from multiple client devices is correlated to enable analysis of a complex business process. As a result of the analysis, bottlenecks may be identified based on a particular process step taking a long time to complete or receiving repeated re-entry of data. The solution is automated and scalable, allowing for analysis of an entire business process landscape.

  • Patent number: 10791004
Abstract: In one example, a router is configured to process communications according to a tunneling protocol to provide network overlay tunnels to facilitate virtual private networks (VPNs) for hosts, and to process communications associated with an external network with use of a provider virtualization routing and forwarding (VRF) instance. With use of a subscription function, the router receives an initial set of extranet VPN prefixes associated with the network overlays for storage in association with the provider VRF, as well as regularly receive publications of updates to extranet VPN prefixes associated with the network overlays. With use of a route obtaining function, the router, in response to receiving a communication associated with one of the stored extranet VPN prefixes at the provider VRF, sends to a communications management server a message indicating request for a host-to-router mapping and receive from the communications management server a reply including the host-to-router mapping.

  • Patent number: 10764809
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented in this disclosure that enable mobile devices without access to an active network connection (e.g. cellular, satellite or Internet network) to communicate between each other by sending and receiving data packets (e.g. text, location, or image) through a mesh of connected devices. A packet for forwarding is included into a mesh forwarding list at a mobile device, wherein the mesh forwarding list includes packets for forwarding to one or more mobile devices. The mobile device checks, in each packet within the mesh forwarding list, a list with at least one identifier of at least one wireless device that has already received the packet. The mobile device forwards the mesh forwarding list to the one or more wireless devices via at least one connection, based on the checked one or more identifiers.

  • Patent number: 10747723
Abstract: Dynamic and selective compression for content caching is provided for improving content delivery over a digital network. The dynamic and selective compression increased server cache size for higher cache-hit ratios that offset delays associated with compressing and decompressing content. The dynamic compression involves switching between an available set of compression tools in order to compress different files with the compression tool that is optimal for that file. The selective compression involves selectively compressing the content or files with the optimal compression tool when at least a threshold amount of space savings is obtained in an acceptable amount of time. Thus, the caching server caches compressed copies of a first set of files compressed with a first compression tool, compressed copies of a second set of files compressed with a different second compression tool, and an uncompressed third set of files.
