Abstract: A cover for human and domestic mammals, which provides cooling and warming to a wearer utilizing tubing attached to the cover and filled with liquid. The liquid is distributed throughout the tubing by a pump and the temperature of the liquid is controlled by a thermostat. The cover and pump are portable wherein the pump is housed in a carrying bag. The pump is interchangeable with additional covers for heating and cooling as desired.

Abstract: A head covering that is operable to be secured to a user's head and provide coverage thereof so as to inhibit hair on the user's head from being contacting by water. The present invention includes a first portion and a second portion wherein the second portion is releasably secured to the first portion. The first portion is dome shaped having a cavity to receive a user's head. The first portion includes a first seam located at the lower peripheral edge of the first portion. A second seam is provided adjacent to the first seam and together function to inhibit water from egressing therepast. A band member having fasteners are secured to the outer surface of the first portion. A second portion having a band member and fasteners are provide to secure to the first portion wherein the second portion is either a wig, a headwear or a combination thereof.

Abstract: A combination nursing article includes a first piece and a second piece. The first piece may include an upper portion, a lower portion, and an empire waist between the upper and lower portions. The upper portion may include an upper inner layer configured to extend around a bust of a wearer. The second piece may include an upper outer layer configured to be worn as a camisole bra over the upper inner layer. The second piece may also include an elastomeric band configured to extend over the first piece, below breasts and around a torso of the wearer. When worn, a lower edge of the second piece is configured to be lifted and pulled upwardly to expose an upper edge of the upper inner portion and the upper edge of the upper inner portion is configured to be pulled downwardly to expose a nipple for nursing.

Abstract: A bicycle helmet system comprising a helmet and a chin bar is disclosed. The chin bar is removably coupled to the helmet and wrapped circumferentially around a portion of the helmet. The chin bar may include a rear buckle configured to tighten the chin bar around the helmet. The chin bar may also include two side buckles that engage with side recesses on the helmet when the chin bar is removably coupled to the helmet. The chin bar may also include two alignment protrusions positioned to engage with alignment recesses on the helmet when the chin bar is removably coupled to the helmet.

Abstract: Helmet padding systems are disclosed. One helmet padding system includes a rigid shell, a ratchet system, and a spacing pad. The rigid shell includes a pair of slots extending from a lower rear edge of the rigid shell in a direction toward a lower front edge of the rigid shell. The pair of slots define a central portion and opposed side portions of the rigid shell. The central portion includes at least one pair of flaps that extend outwardly from the central portion into the pair of slots. The ratchet system is coupled to the rigid shell, and includes a pair of ratchet straps and a pair of ratchet latches configured to secure respective ones of the pair of ratchet straps. The spacing pad is positioned within the rigid shell, and includes a layer of elastomeric material.

Abstract: Helmet padding systems are disclosed. One helmet padding system includes a rigid shell and a spacing pad. The rigid shell is configured to cover a top of a user's head and be worn under a piece of headgear. The rigid shell includes a pair of slots extending in a direction from a lower rear edge of the rigid shell toward a lower front edge of the rigid shell. The pair of slots define a central portion and opposed side portions of the rigid shell. The central portion includes at least one pair of flaps, with each of the at least one pair of flaps extending outwardly from the central portion into a respective slot. The central portion further includes a tail extending outwardly from the central portion into each of the slots. The spacing pad is positioned within the rigid shell. The spacing pad includes a layer of elastomeric material.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes a sole and an upper at least partially formed of a textile element. The textile element includes a yarn matrix having a plurality of interlocked strands oriented in predetermined directions. A structural element may be captured within the matrix at selected locations. In operation, the matrix is stitched onto a temporary substrate. The substrate is removed and the article coupled to a sole structure to form the article of footwear.

Abstract: A safety garment with integrated earplugs designed to provide both hearing protection and high-visibility to the user in a single garment. The safety garment with integrated earplugs includes a garment, such as a vest or sweatshirt, designed to enclose a user's torso, with a neck aperture along a top end designed to receive a head and neck therethrough and a pair of arm apertures on opposing sides, wherein each arm aperture is designed to receive an arm therethrough. A reflective material is disposed along an exterior surface of the garment, such that the garment qualifies as a high-visibility safety garment. Additionally, a cord having a pair of opposing ends is affixed to the garment, wherein an earplug is affixed to each end of the cord. In this way, a user is able to wear a single garment that provides both high visibility to the user and has hearing protection attached.

Abstract: A thread tension apparatus and method consists of a thread cone holder configured to hold thread where the thread cone holder is connected to a motor. A thread guide is provided where the thread guide includes a thread channel such that the thread guide directs thread to a machine where the machine draws thread in first direction. A motor controller is connected with the motor, where the motor controller operates the motor to turn the thread cone holder such that thread is drawn in a second direction opposite from the machine first direction such that tension is applied to the thread as thread is drawn to the machine.
