    Abstract: A lighter for lighting cigars, cigarettes, pipes, and other objects is disclosed. The lighter may comprise an enclosed top section defining an opening for receiving the object for lighting. An inner surface of the top section includes a plurality of spouts disposed and configured to direct a plurality of flames towards a center of the opening. A bottom section may comprise a fuel reservoir, an igniter, and an actuator. The actuation may actuate the igniter which, in turn, ignites fuel from the fuel reservoir. The igniter may be a piezoelectric igniter. The enclosed burn area of the lighter with flames directed towards a center thereof may promote even burning of the object, such as a cigar.

Architectures directed to an improved air handler device can be designed to concurrently heat and cool air and to reduce dimensions (e.g., size, weight) that can reduce costs and mitigate shipping and installation difficulties.

    Abstract: The ductless air handling system draws return air from a low level and discharges conditioned supply air at a high level, thereby covering a large area without the need for ductwork. The outlet has a series of upright and lateral vanes with respective adjustable louvers and flaps as well as a curved turning vane along the outlet's back panel and which extends to the top panel. The outlet turns the airflow from a vertical oriented flow to a horizontal oriented flow and directs the airflow outward into the space. The lateral vanes are situated between each upright vane to divide the airflow into a faster-moving upper stream and a slower-moving lower stream that respectively exit through an upper and lower sections of the vent. Further, a germicidal irradiation chamber within the conduit connecting the base to the outlet can disinfect air as it is circulated by the air handler.
