Abstract: Motion sickness is reduced for users of mechanical systems used to practice sports that comprise an immersive virtual reality device. In particular, the use of prediction and interpolation algorithms enable fluid movements to be displayed within the virtual environment.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems that allow a user to access indicia representing executable form items, click and drag them into a space on a display screen, and build a form of executable form items. The disclosed methods and systems allow the executable form items to be arranged and rearranged as the user is building the form. The form as it is being built on a display is executable as execution codes are attached the form items when the indicia is dragged onto a form view screen. A user will not need to consider how to define the manner in which the form items function. That is a user, in a single step, will select a form item that is a particular type to the build the form, and this form will immediately be executable. The form can then become part of a form flow.

Abstract: An electronic device having a touch-sensitive surface and a processing method for the electronic device. When a pressing operation on an application icon is detected on the touch-sensitive surface, a menu including m operation options is displayed on a display screen of the electronic device so that a user quickly performs different operations on an application program. The m operation options are determined based on at least one of: a quantity of times that an operation option is tapped, a time at which an operation option is taped, a location of the electronic device when an operation option is tapped, unread information in an application corresponding to the application icon, data obtained before the application is suspended, data obtained when the application runs in the background, or a communication object in the application.

Abstract: A method of operating a machine via a display device user interface includes generating a text tree display control comprising a tree of text blocks on a first portion of a machine display interface, generating a term control comprising individual terms identified in the text tree display control on a second portion of the machine display interface, generating a navigation control comprising a visual representation of each branch of the text tree display control on a third portion of the machine display interface, operating an individual area of the term control comprising an individual term, to highlight and change all instances of the individual term in the text tree display control, and operating the navigation control to reorder branches of the text tree display control.

Abstract: Systems are provided that include electronic equipment and electronic devices. A system may include electronic equipment such as a thermostat or other equipment in a vehicle or home, vehicle navigation equipment, networking equipment, computer equipment, equipment with speakers for playing audio, and other electronic equipment. An electronic device such as a portable electronic device may be placed in the vicinity of electronic equipment by a user. In response to detecting that the electronic device is adjacent to the electronic equipment, control circuitry in the electronic device can automatically display content of the electric device such as a user control interface for the electronic device or information related to operation of the electronic equipment. The system may monitor the position of the electronic device relative to the electronic equipment and can dynamically update the displayed content based on the current device position.

Abstract: A neural network system can select content based on user and item content embeddings in an approach that can be updated in real time on the user device without server support. Requests for content sent to the server can include an anonymous user embedding that includes data describing the user's inputs. The content that is nearest to the user embedding in a joint embedding space can be returned as suggested content.

The injector system may comprise a multi-use subassembly, a single-use subassembly, a fitting to fluidly connect the multi-use and single-use subassemblies, a hand held controller, a user interface, and an injector housing.

Abstract: In one disclosed method, a first application accessed by a client device receives an indicator of an action that a second application is configured to take with respect to a third application. The client device accesses a fourth application and presents, based at least in part on the indicator received by the first application, a user interface element for the fourth application. Based at least in part on detecting selection of the user interface element, the client device presents a user interface configured to cause the second application to take the action with respect to the third application in response to a user input. The client device detects the user input to the user interface and causes, based at least in part on the user input, the second application to perform the action with respect to the third application.

Abstract: Mechanisms are described for receiving touch inputs on a touch screen display in a way that does not obscure the images and content presented on the display. Content, including selectable elements, is displayed in a main portion of a display, where as an input region that does not overlap with the main portion is provided on the display for receiving touch input selecting particular selectable elements. An extrapolated touch input in the main portion of the display is determined based on the location of the touch input in the input region, such that selection of a particular selectable element may be accomplished when the location of the extrapolated touch input coincides with the location of the selectable element.

Abstract: This application relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling an object in a virtual scene. The method may include generating a first virtual object at a first position point outside a navigation surface in a virtual scene; determining an appearance action of the first virtual object at a second position point in the navigation surface; controlling the first virtual object to move from the first position point to the second position point; and controlling the first virtual object to perform the appearance action at the second position point. In this way, when a virtual object needs to be refreshed, the first virtual object may be generated at the first position point, the first virtual object is controlled to move to the second position point, and the appearance action is performed at the second position point, thereby improving a refreshing effect of the virtual object.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for delivery/read receipts for electronic messaging are disclosed. During one-on-one electronic messaging sessions in a conversation view format, only a single read receipt is shown only for the most recent message transmitted in the conversation. In some implementations, a delivery receipt is shown which then can be replaced or morphed into a read receipt. In a group conversation, a read receipt can be displayed for the recipient who most recently caught up in the ongoing conversation.

A set of menu traversal tracking measures are performed with respect to a target element from the plurality. The set of measures includes, responsive to identifying a user menu traversal action that is not a selection of the target element, incrementing the value of a counter. The set includes, responsive to identifying a user menu traversal action that is a selection of the target element, recording the value of the counter in association with data indicative of the target element. Abstract: A method and electronic device are provided for displaying a list of executable applications on a split screen. The electronic device includes a display, a memory, and a processor. The memory stores a history including information indicating split-screen areas in which scenes associated with executed applications are respectively displayed in a split-screen mode. In response to execution of an application, the processor displays a first scene associated with the executed application on the display. In response to receiving a signal for entry into the split-screen mode, the processor identifies a first split-screen area for displaying a reduced scene of the first scene, and identifies second and third split-screen areas obtained by dividing a remaining area of the display, other than the first split-screen area, generates a first list of applications, based on the history, and displays the first list in the second split-screen area.

Abstract: A system and method for generation, modification, or manipulation of user interface display screens includes a processor storing display screen templates and instantiation data structures which reference the templates for instantiation of the respective ones of the display screen templates for a plurality of different display screens, where the templates can correspond to respective sub-screens of one or more display screens. The processor can analyze captured display screen data to determine whether the data corresponds to a previously stored one of the templates, and, responsive to a positive result of the determination, store a new instantiation data structure referencing the template to which the data is determined to correspond and otherwise generate a new template to be referenced by the instantiation data structure. Modifications and object associations to a plurality of different display screens can be effected by modification of, or association with, a single one of the templates.

Abstract: A speech-based service platform includes a local device in a user premises and a network-based control service that directs the local device to perform actions for a user. The user may at times request that the service schedule a notification or other action at a specified future time or in response to other stimuli that may occur in the future. Upon receiving a request from the user, the control service immediately instructs the local device to schedule the notification or other action. If the control service is unable to contact the local device, however, the request is canceled and the user is notified that the action has not been scheduled. Non-priority actions requested by the user may be accepted and implemented at the local device when communications become available.

Abstract: A method for launching an application of a display device is provided. A first user interface comprising at least one icon for an application is displayed on a display screen of the display device. It is determined whether a hold duration of a focus on a target icon exceeds a preset time period, the target icon is an icon of a target application. In response to the hold duration exceeding the preset time period, the first user interface is updated by a second user interface comprising a display window superimposed on the first user interface, the display window presents a display interface of the target application. It is determined whether an activation instruction for the target icon is received. In response to the activation instruction, the second user interface is updated by a third user interface that is a display interface displaying the target application in a full-screen mode.
