Abstract: A slurry recycling apparatus having a first filter, a dirty side storage tank, slurry pump, second filter, clean side storage tank and slurry outlet, in which used slurry from an edge notch polishing apparatus is delivered to the first screen filter, transported to the dirty side slurry storage tank, pumped from the dirty side slurry storage tank through a second filter that filters out small particulate matter from the slurry and allows the slurry to pass to the clean side slurry storage tank, and finally to the edge notch polishing apparatus as needed. Slurry which is not immediately taken from the clean side slurry storage tank is continuously recycled through the second filter by overflowing from the clean side to the dirty side slurry storage tank where it is there pumped through the second filter back into the clean side slurry storage tank.

Abstract: A hammer wrench assembly and method of use that includes a safety handle for use with a hammer wrench. The hammer wrench is fitted with a female coupling. The safety handle is fitted with a male coupling adapted to mate with the female coupling. The male coupling is pivotally coupled to the safety handle so that the handle can be rotated up to 180°. The hammer wrench assembly can be used by one user or two users. With two users, one user can swing the hammer while the other use can steady the hammer wrench with the safety handle.
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided to simplify sandblasting processes while increasing applied coverage areas in sandblasting operations. The method and apparatus provide a manifold assembly having a plurality of nozzles and that is rigidly attached to an air supply. The manifold is supplied with abrasive material via a plurality of angularly attached sand supply hoses which are coupled to an abrasive material supply. The manifold assembly is pressurized with the supply of air. An article is sandblasted by drawing sand through the hoses and out of the plurality of nozzles using the pressurized air through the manifold assembly.
Abstract: A torque wrench has an elongated lever arm with working and distal ends, the lever arm carrying a wrench head at the working end, a selector mechanism at the distal end and a torque-responsive mechanism coupled to the selector mechanism for movement therewith among plural selectable positions respectively corresponding to preset torque values, the lever arm having a longitudinal axis and an outer surface spaced transversely from the axis no more than a maximum transverse distance, the selector mechanism including retaining mechanism disposed axially beyond the distal end of the lever arm and spaced transversely from the axis a distance greater than the maximum transverse distance for retaining the selector mechanism in a selected position.
Abstract: A pliers having a pair of jaws each of which has an outside surface and wherein at least one of the outside surfaces has a file that is a separate member that is releasably coupled to at least one of the outside surfaces. The file, or files, can be attached to either one or both of the jaws using a variety of coupling mechanisms.
Abstract: An opener comprises a holding portion; a front end of the holding portion being installed with a screwing portion; a rear end of the holding portion being installed with a rotation portion; a front end of the screwing portion being installed with an opener head; a rear end of the rotation portion being installed with a connecting hole for receiving a tool so as to provide a longer arm of force to have a larger torque, thus the user can moving a screwing element easily by using the opener. A section of the rotation portion is received into the holding portion; the section of the rotation portion is installed with at least one buckling ring for enhancing the engagement of the rotation portion with the holding portion. A front end of the portion of the rotation portion has a connecting sleeve; the screwing portion is tightly received into the connecting sleeve.
Abstract: In spinner tongs, a so-called spinner (30), incorporated in an iron roughneck and thus serving to rotate a drill pipe during connection thereof to a drill string or during division of the drill string into individual pipes, the aim has been to reduce damage on the threaded connections (the pin-and-box joints) in the screwing/unscrewing operations. This is realised in an operation for the simultaneous centering and rotating of the drill pipe. Four spinner rollers (42) known in themselves, which are brought to bear on the drill pipe when surrounding it, are mounted according to the invention, preferably in pairs, at the outer ends of driven clamping arms (46), by bogies (50). At their opposite outer ends the clamping arms (46) are pivotally supported on a fixed frame part/structure (56) and are jointed to each other by means of a piston and cylinder (48) driven by pressure fluid and arranged to carry the clamping arms (46) towards and away from each other.

Abstract: A multi-piece socket system having a large internal cavity to allow a protrusion of a long rod or other workpiece to extend into the socket. The socket section has at least two pieces: a drive adaptor and a socket. Optionally, one or more extension collars may also be used. When assembled, the socket, extension collar(s) if used, and drive adaptor form a long tubular body into which a rod or other central member may enter while the nut is being driven onto the rod. The drive adaptor, extension collars, and sockets preferably attach together using a plurality of interlocking teeth on the ends of each member. For further stability, a spring biased pin extends from the wall of one member and through a hole in the wall of the mating member. Additional attachments, such as a threaded rod and drill chuck, may also be used.
Abstract: A portable hand-held screw driving tool is provided for use with collated strips of screws. A collated strip of screws enters from the “bottom” area of the tool and runs through a fixed guide along a front area of the tool's handle, and then to a movable slide body having a rotatable sprocket that receives the collated strip, and indexes the strip so a screw can be driven by the tool. Between the slide body and the fixed guide is a flexible strap with a bracket that places tension on the collated screw strip, which prevents the flexible collated strip from becoming substantially misaligned (e.g., bunching, sagging, or becoming tangled) in the area between the fixed guide and the slide body. The collated strip is kept sufficiently taut, regardless of the orientation of the screw driving tool with respect to the ground.
Abstract: A toolbox screwdriver comprises a base, a first bracket and a second bracket. The first bracket and the second bracket are pivotally mounted on the base. The base has a plurality of projections, corresponding to a plurality of notches on the second bracket. The second bracket further includes a plurality of receptacle holes each for retaining a screwdriver head, which will be pushed upward by the projections as the first bracket is opened. The first bracket has a receptacle hole corresponding to an insertion hole on the base as the first bracket is retracted onto the base. The insertion hole of the base is for the insertion of a screwdriver rod, so that the toolbox can be used as a screwdriver.

Abstract: A guidance channel radiating from each side of clip holding chamber centered on a flat plate. A prying tool slideably and rotatably held within each guidance channel by a spring strip. A split ring held snugly within the holding chamber. The tool tips are forced between the split ring coils, which are separated further by simultaneous rotation of the prying tool handles 90-degrees in opposite clock directions. A pellet placed inside folded bag material forms a bump. The material with bump is placed between the separated coils into the split ring interior. Reverse 90-degree handle rotation partly closes the coils around the bump. Withdrawing the prying tools completely allows the coils to fully close, capturing the pellet-containing material. Tool stops prevent the tool tips from entering the split ring interior too far into or away from the clip holding chamber. Suspension of the tool and bags facilitates production.
