  • Patent number: 7422514
Abstract: A dental crown polishing apparatus has a motor, a ball bearing assembly around a shaft of the motor and having balls rotating and circularly moving around the motor shaft by receiving torque from the motor shaft, a brush assembly on the periphery of the ball bearing assembly, equipped with brushes contacting the ball to rotate and having bristles in the same direction as an axial direction of rotation and a tray opposite and open to the brush assembly to dispose a crown toward the brushes. The motor shaft is offset from the center of the brush assembly. The brush assembly moves in an orbital fashion by the rotation of the motor. The tray rotates separately from the brush assembly. The rotation of the tray is not synchronous with the rotation of the brush assembly. Dental crown polishing is achieved by the orbital movement of the brushes.

  • Patent number: 7418890
Abstract: A wrench or one way drive has a flexible head (2) with a split aperture (20) for loosely engaging a separate drive such as a socket or the head of a fastener (31) including a nut, bolt, screw or the like. Cam means, preferably pins (11,11a), are located on a handle (3) and engage the head (2) preferably through slots (21,22) in the head. The slots diverge outwardly so that as the handle is moved relative to the head the split aperture (20) closes and the flexible head (2) increasingly clamps a drive socket as more torque is applied to the handle.

  • Patent number: 7357052
Abstract: Stabilized or partially stabilized zirconia paste may be screen printed onto hydrophilic plastic film in the form of a mesh. On firing, this becomes a very sharp foil for electric razors with excellent wear and flexibility characteristics. Stabilized or partially stabilized zirconia may also be screen printed onto a wettable plastic film then fired to produce low cost razor blades with an excellent edge. A curved razor blade incorporating an array of holes, each of which has a knife edge periphery, offers greater cutting power and control of the skin surface than a single or double edge.
