  • Patent number: 11586936
Abstract: Systems and methods for both technical and non-technical users to create content for interactive synthetic characters are provided. In some embodiments, a conversation editor may be configured to create a traversable script for an interactive synthetic character by receiving a set of conversation rules from a user. These rules can be used to match certain words or phrases that a user speaks or types, or to monitor for a physical movement of the user or synthetic character. Each conversation rule can include responses to be performed by the interactive synthetic character. The responses can include, for example, producing audible or textual speech for the synthetic character, performing one or more animations, playing one or more sound effects, retrieving data from one or more data sources, and the like. A traversable script can be generated from the set of conversation rules that when executed by the synthetic character allows for the dynamic interactions.

  • Patent number: 11586341
Abstract: A system and method for grouping and organizing structured responses in a communication application at a computing device. A structured question in a plurality of messages can be detected based on a structured question model trained via machine learning. A structured question can be a question predicted by the structured question model to have a number of possible answers fewer than a threshold. A user interface element, corresponding to the structured question, can include a structured summarization that includes one or more answers to the structured question present in the plurality of messages from the plurality of users, and/or a structured response template in which at least a subset of possible answers are presented and are selectable. A command to include the generated graphical user interface element in a record of the communication session in a graphical user interface corresponding to the communication application.

Abstract: Techniques for determining a Next Best Action (NBA) are disclosed, with the determination being based on a position within an application, past actions by a user when experiencing a similar application context, and/or tasks in queue for the user to execute from current state of the application. Techniques are also disclosed for displaying an interface that includes the NBA in conjunction with a specific rationale for presenting the NBA, such as recommendations by a trusted person, based on the user's and/or other users' past behavior, and descriptions developed based on the specific NBA. Also, methods for determining a best NBA are disclosed, with the NBA being selected by applying static rules to a data set, heuristically analyzing the data set, and/or applying a machine learning model to the data set.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and systems that generate experience-journey timelines that map touchpoints along a journey to experience data representing experiences of an entity at such touchpoints. Specifically, the disclosed systems can identify touchpoints and experience data indicating experiences of a user, organization, or other entity. Subsequently, the disclosed systems can map experience data to the touchpoints corresponding to the entity. Using such mappings, the disclosed systems can generate experience journey timelines that indicate mappings between particular experience indicators and particular touchpoints. Additionally, the disclosed systems can provide experience-journey timelines for display in graphical user interfaces and facilitate functionalities to explore data underlying the experience indicators at each touchpoint in the experience-journey timelines.
