Abstract: Systems and methods for bandwidth-limited video transport are configured to receive (or otherwise discern) a selection of video parameter limits that correspond to a bandwidth limit and apply the video parameter limits to an input video stream to enforce the bandwidth limit while preserving video quality. Methods may include adjusting the video stream one parameter at a time until the adjusted video stream meets the bandwidth limit. Parameters to be adjusted may include image resolution, frame rate, image compression, color depth, bits per pixel, and/or color encoding. In some embodiments, the image resolution is reduced first, the frame rate is reduced next, and the image compression is increased last. The extent and/or order of the adjustments of the parameters may be selected by the user, based on the content of the video stream, and/or based on the bandwidth limit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of providing image data based on cloud streaming. In particular, the method uses memory space of a terminal, prestores image data in the terminal, captures an execution screen regarding execution of a specific application, extracts video content from the prestored image data based on the captured execution screen and information regarding the execution screen, simultaneously encodes individual items of the extracted video content, and provides the encoded video content to a screen. Thus, according to the present invention, usage of the cloud streaming server and the network may be reduced by an amount commensurate with the resources utilization of the terminal. Network load may also be reduced when a live video or a VOD video is not being watched, and the rich GUI experience may be guaranteed in a standby state.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a viewer rating calculation server includes a server communication unit configured to receive first audio feature information extracted by a viewer rating calculation remote apparatus from viewing contents, an audio feature information extraction unit configured to extract second audio feature information of a broadcast content received from at least one broadcast service provider, a viewing content identification unit configured to generate viewing information as a result of determination of a currently viewing content by comparing the first audio feature information with the second audio feature information, and a viewer rating calculation unit configured to calculate a viewer rating of each broadcast content in real time on the basis of multiple pieces of the viewing information.
