Abstract: A method is provided for enhancing a user interface with a mobile device by joining the displays of multiple devices together to function together with one another. In particular, example methods may provide for detecting a first touch or drag event, receiving a message indicating a second touch or drag event from a nearby device occurring during the first touch or drag event, creating a join event, and providing for transmission of the join event to the nearby device. The method may also include updating a registry of nearby devices in response to receiving a message regarding a touch or drag event from a nearby device. The method may further include providing for presentation of content on a display of a device and direction of content to be presented on a display of the nearby device.

According to certain aspects, the systems and methods present an interface to a user that indicates an additional user of the music service and allows the user to select certain properties or attributes associated with a desired playlist. The systems and methods identify a music profile of the additional user and detect an input selection to generate the playlist. In aspects, the systems and methods identify songs based on the music profile of the additional user and optionally a music profile of the user, as well as the properties or attributes selected by the user, and provides the playlist to the user that includes the identified songs.

Abstract: A device, method, and system for inferring user intent to perform an action on a computing device includes monitoring the eye movement patterns of a user and determining the action to be performed based on the eye movement patterns. Signals relating to the eye movement of the user while observing a display screen of the computing device are processed to produce at least one eye movement feature. One or more classifiers are generated based on a training set of data of the eye movement feature over a time interval in which the user observes the display screen with an intent to activate the action. Thereafter, an eye-movement-pattern of the user may be analyzed, and features may be extracted, as the user is observing the display screen. The intended action is automatically activated if the user intent is inferred using the one or more of the classifiers.

Abstract: Systems and methods for moving a display during a device flip are provided. More particularly, in response to input or instructions selecting a secondary closed mode, operation of the device can be altered from a normal operating mode. In the secondary closed mode, when a device is moved from an open mode or state to a closed mode or state, the active window while the device was in the open mode is presented by a secondary screen, rather than a primary screen. The secondary closed mode is exited when the device is again placed in an open state or mode.

Additional content is displayed in the perspective view based on the tilt angle.
