Abstract: The present invention provides a configuration that allows for a cursor or other object that has moved outside the display section to be displayed as a virtual object and observed. A cursor or object lying in an area outside the area of the display section of a PC or other device is displayed as a virtual object. For example, the display of goggles worn by the user displays a display device such as a PC and the area outside the display device. The three-dimensional position of the cursor or object that has probably moved in response to user operation is calculated, after which the cursor or object is displayed as a virtual object at the calculated position. Further, object information for the object specified by the cursor is acquired and presented.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and method are provided for displaying items associated with selected media content and to cycle such that multiple items are displayed over time. A UE is provided that includes at least one component configured to display a plurality of items provided in a filmstrip format and associated with a plurality of content and to cycle the items in the filmstrip format. A method therefore is also contemplated.

Abstract: A method for resizing a currently selected user interface object includes simultaneously displaying on a touch-sensitive display the currently selected user interface object having a center, and a plurality of resizing handles for the currently selected user interface object. The method also includes detecting a first contact on a first resizing handle in the plurality of resizing handles, and detecting movement of the first contact across the touch-sensitive display. The method further includes, in response to detecting movement of the first contact, when a second contact is detected on the touch-sensitive display while detecting movement of the first contact, resizing the currently selected user interface object about the center of the currently selected user interface object.

Abstract: The invention relates to presenting and browsing in metadata on handheld display devices such as music/mp3 players, mobile phones, PDA's, digital cameras. A graphical user interface (GUI) accesses metadata arranged in different categories and determines a hierarchical order of this. A metadata category is shown in a menu of category entries in a separate pane on the GUI. Rotation of the device is detected by a rotation sensor, and upon rotation the pane with the menu being browsed before rotation is maintained in the GUI, and at least one pane a menu representing a hierarchical super- or sub-category of the category being browsed before rotation is added or removed. This allows the user to expand or collapse metadata categories shown in the GUI by rotating the device.

Abstract: An activation arrangement may be included in one or more record selection interfaces of an enterprise computing system to activate a preset navigator interface pane for limited the quantity of records displayed in the record selection interface. The preset navigator interface pane may include filters to identify records satisfying predetermined criteria. The preset navigator interface pane may also include a tree structure depicting a hierarchical classification of the records based on certain field values in each record. The records displayed for subsequent selection in the record selection interface may be limited according to the activated filters and activated nodes in the structure.
