  • Patent number: 9789982
Abstract: A device for supporting containers in filling machines for products in powder form includes, a first supporting element, connected to the structure of a filling machine, and a second supporting element designed to support a respective container to be filled. The device further includes actuation elements configured for actuating, with a vibrating motion, the second supporting element with respect to the first supporting element. The second supporting element can rotate with respect to the first supporting element about a substantially vertical rotation axis. The actuation elements further include elements for generating a variable magnetic field, which are integral with one of the supporting elements, and magnetic means, which are integral with the other of the supporting elements and interact with the generator to cause an alternating oscillation, in the two opposite rotation directions, of the second supporting element with respect to the first supporting element, about the rotation axis.

  • Patent number: 9790073
Abstract: A filling machine comprises a rotor driven by a drive around a machine axis surrounded by a pitch circle on the rotor, filling elements provided at even pitch intervals around the pitch circle, a closure-element supporting-ring surrounding and concentric with the machine axis, closure elements, a filling-material discharge opening, and a locking device. Each closure element closes a corresponding filling element on an underside thereof during cleaning or disinfection of said filling machine. Relative movement between the ring and the rotor, which is generated by the drive, moves the closure elements between a non-engaged state, in which the closure elements are between filling elements on the pitch circle, and an engaged state, in which the closure elements are on an underside of a corresponding filling element. The locking device causes this state transition by blocking co-rotation of the ring and the rotor.

  • Patent number: 9768438
Abstract: A device for injecting a liquid electrolyte into a battery addresses a problem that the injection amount of the liquid electrolyte becomes excessive because the liquid electrolyte volatizes at injection if remaining in a chamber. The device has a liquid injecting pump for injecting the liquid electrolyte into the battery positioned inside the chamber which has been sealed in a depressurized state and a vacuum pump for depressurizing the inside of the chamber. A vacuum attainment time until a pressure of the inside of the chamber becomes in a predetermined vacuum state is measured, and if this vacuum attainment time becomes longer than a predetermined value, the injection amount of the liquid electrolyte is corrected downwards.

  • Patent number: 9730396
Abstract: A horticultural container filling apparatus has a hopper to selectively dispense soil through an exit. A two-tier strip conveyor assembly has a plurality of narrow conveyor belts coupled to a motor for translating the narrow conveyor belts in a first direction along a first plane below the exit of the hopper. The narrow conveyor belts spaced apart, defining one or more gaps. A plurality of support rails support and guide the narrow conveyor belts along the first plane and are configured to support and convey a container on the narrow conveyor belts in the first direction. The container receives a portion of the soil dispensed from the exit of the hopper, and the gaps pass a remaining portion of soil not received by the container to a second plane below the first plane. A catch conveyor belt along the second plane receives and translates the remaining portion of soil in a second direction along the second plane.
