  • Patent number: 9644791
Abstract: A system for loading and storing CNG onboard of a ship and for unloading it therefrom comprises CNG loading facilities for loading CNG on board of the ship, CNG storage facilities for storing the loaded CNG on board of the ship at nominal storage pressure and temperature, and CNG unloading facilities for unloading CNG to a delivery point. The delivery point requires the unloaded CNG to be at delivery pressure and temperature generally different from the storage pressure and temperature. Thus, the CNG unloading facilities comprise a CNG heater for heating the to-be-unloaded CNG prior to unloading, and a lamination valve for allowing the to-be-unloaded CNG to expand from its storage pressure to the delivery pressure. A compressor may also be provided to compress CNG that would not otherwise be spontaneously delivered.

  • Patent number: 9644518
Abstract: A urea filler neck for preventing a urea overflow includes a filler housing forming a urea path in which urea flows to a urea tank. An injection gun guide is provided in the filler housing. An end of an injection gun is fixed by the injection gun guide to limit an insertion position of the injection gun inserted into an inlet of the filler housing. An injection gun guide flooding phenomenon is generated, in which urea flowing backward from the urea tank rises to block an air flow in the filler housing being generated in the injection gun guide. A filler housing pressure increasing phenomenon is generated, in which a pressure in the filler housing is increased due to blocking of the air flow by the injection gun guide flooding phenomenon being generated in the injection gun guide.

  • Patent number: 9605805
Abstract: In processes and systems utilizing a compressor to fill a vessel with gas, for example, in the filling of the fuel tank of a vehicle that operates on compressed natural gas (CNG), a number of advantages are realized by establishing independent control over the flow rate of gas discharged from the compressor, such as on the basis of the compressor discharge pressure, utilizing feedback from one or more gas pressure sensors. In representative embodiments, a detected or actual measured compressor discharge pressure can serve as a process variable, in a feedback control loop for regulating the output of the compressor.
