Abstract: A commercial hybrid tank includes a metal liner with an upper wall and a lower wall. The upper wall and the lower wall define a cavity therebetween. A weld joint joins the upper and lower walls together. A fiber winding layer is wrapped around an outer surface of the metal liner. A method for manufacturing a commercial hybrid tank includes overlapping surfaces of an upper wall and a lower wall to form a metal liner defining a cavity. The method includes joining the surface of the upper wall and the surface of the lower wall together by welding to form a weld joint between the upper wall and the lower wall. The method includes wrapping the metal liner with a fiber winding layer around an outer surface of the metal liner to form a hybrid tank.

Abstract: A gas pressure container for an airbag system of a motor vehicle is disclosed having a tube element with a high bursting resistance when internal pressure is being applied. The tube element includes a steel alloy and a first longitudinal portion of the tube element has a tensile strength Rm,11 higher than (>) 800 MPa, a transition temperature Tu,11 of at least ?40° C., and an outer circumference U1. The tube element also includes at least one second longitudinal portion and/or additional longitudinal portions, which extend axially from the first longitudinal portion. The second longitudinal portion or the additional longitudinal portions and the first longitudinal portion are formed from a seamless or welded single-piece tube made of a uniform material, and more specifically from a hot-rolled or cold-drawn tube.

The side wall assembly further includes a second hinge pin assembly having a second hinge pin extending therefrom. The second hinge pin is configured to be received within a second end of the tube hinge opposite the first end. The tube hinge, the first hinge pin assembly, and the second hinge pin assembly are configured to enable the side wall to pivotally rotate with respect to the base.

Abstract: A container sleeve is disclosed which include a body configured to hold a container. The body contains an attachment element that is concealed behind a cover, and is suitable for temporarily, but securely attaching the sleeve, container, and the container's contents to a vertical surface. The body and the cover over the attachment element have different coefficients of friction, optimized for their roles of gripping vertical surfaces, and human hands, respectively.

Abstract: A lid module adapted to cover a top opening of a cup body includes a plug device movably and expandably received inside the inner ring to adapt to a cup body so that the lid module has a water tight engagement with the inner periphery of the cup body when the plug device is in an expanded status and the lid module is freely movable relative to the cup body when the plug device is in a contracted status. A lid has an outer ring, an inner ring integrally formed with the outer ring and a hollow central ring integrally formed with the inner ring and having an inner diameter larger than that of an outer diameter of the tube so that the tube is able to extend into the hollow central ring and be securely received therein and a securing mechanism integrally formed with the inner ring.

Abstract: A unitary, single-use, sanitary seal for a beverage can. It has a number of redundant sealing interfaces incorporated into its design and uses of both friction fit and captive seals. It may be installed at the canning facility or elsewhere by a third party, with or without the use of heating. Its dome construction flexes the side walls and seals outward in an expansive manner to allow installation. To remove, the seal must be destroyed, leaving a visual indication. It allows a conventional six-pack ring to be used as well as the vertical stacking of groupings of cans. Antibacterial agents such as silver, copper, zinc, tin, or the like may optionally be incorporated into the seal's material to enhance or maintain sterility.

Abstract: A stackable and nestable food containment system provides temporary storage of edible substances. The system comprises tray members and lids that have an interengageable relationship. The tray member has a bottom surface with at least one first groove. The lid has at least one second groove that substantially matches the first groove. The grooves are aligned to enable arrangement of the tray members in a stacked configuration, while also restricting lateral slippage between tray members. When the tray members are covered with their correlating lids and in arranged in a stacked arrangement, spillage is also inhibited. Each tray has at least one barrier that forms three separate compartments. The compartments serve to segregate different edible substances, and also create an interlocking arrangement between tray members in a nested configuration. The tray members and the lids are fabricated from a material that is microwavable and dishwasher safe.

Abstract: A multi-use fuel tank flange assembly facilitates the attachment and removal of multiple components thereto, such as a draw and return tube assembly, a fuel filler neck, and a cover plate. Each of these components may be removed from the flange without damage to the component, the flange or the fuel tank. Multiple flanges may be used on a single fuel tank to allow multiple components to be secured to the single fuel tank.

The lid may form a relatively airtight seal with a wall of the cooler when in a closed position.
