Abstract: Embodiments are directed to controlling playback of recordings. The recording can comprise an audio recording, audio/visual recording, voicemail message, or other recording having an audio component. According to one embodiment, a method can comprise capturing an audio recording of speech of at least one person and determining, a context for each of a plurality of portions of the audio recording based on natural language processing of the audio recording. One or more transition points between the portions of the audio recording can be identified. Each transition point can indicate a change in the determined context between the portions. A playback interface providing a representation of the audio recording and each of the identified transition points can be presented and the audio recording can be played based on input received through the playback interface.

Abstract: A vehicular display device includes a display panel and an electronic control unit. The display panel includes a main multi-display area configured to display a first content, and a sub multi-display area configured to display a second content. The electronic control unit is configured to receive one or more selection contents selected by a user, select a content to be displayed as one or both of the first content and the second content among a plurality of contents including the selection content, select the selection content as the first content or the second content depending on a situation of the vehicle, and display the selection content selected as the first content or the second content on the main multi-display area or the sub multi-display area.

Abstract: In a method for controlling the selection of media files for playback, graphical objects are displayed, and each media file is assigned to one graphical object in each case. In addition, first probabilities, by which the media files are selected for playback, are indicated in the method via a feature of the graphical objects. An operating action by a user, by which the feature of at least one graphical object is modified, is detected. Moreover, second probabilities are assigned to the graphical objects as a function of the modification of the feature of the at least one graphical object. The media files are selected for replay as a function of the second probabilities. In addition, a device is arranged for controlling the selection of media files for replay purposes.

Abstract: Examples of wearable devices that can present to a user of the display device an audible or visual representation of an audio file comprising a plurality of stem tracks that represent different audio content of the audio file are described. Systems and methods are described that determine the pose of the user; generate, based on the pose of the user, an audio mix of at least one of the plurality of stem tracks of the audio file; generate, based on the pose of the user and the audio mix, a visualization of the audio mix; communicate an audio signal representative of the audio mix to the speaker; and communicate a visual signal representative of the visualization of the audio mix to the display.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for pairing electronic devices. One method includes generating a code sequence for pairing an electronic device with an application executed by a processor of a controller, the controller being remote to the electronic device, and the electronic device and the controller interfacing with a server via a network connection. The code sequence includes a configuration mode portion indicating a role for a user of the controller, an invitation sequence having invitation code for the user and a random code portion. The method further includes receiving the code sequence by the electronic device; validating the code sequence by the electronic device using a key data structure; and pairing the electronic device to the controller for enabling the application to monitor and command the electronic device.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for controlling a tactile feedback array are provided. For example, object information of objects displayed within a user interface rendered on a display screen of a computing device is extracted. The object information is evaluated to identify a target object. A location of the target object within the user interface relative to the tactile feedback array is determined. One or more tactile feedback devices of the tactile feedback array are triggered to activate based upon the location of the target object.

Abstract: Techniques are described for extending virtual desktops across different devices. The virtual desktop client sets up a web server on a primary device. A QR code encoded with information identifying the web server is displayed on the primary device and is scanned by a secondary device. A web browser is launched on the secondary device and the web browser connects to the web server on the primary device. The virtual desktop is reconfigured to produce its GUI on two monitors, one for the primary device and one for the secondary device. The GUI data for the second monitor is streamed by the virtual desktop client to the secondary device over the HTTPS connection, to be displayed on the secondary device. GUI data for the first monitor is displayed on the primary device. Inputs are streamed from the secondary device to the primary device and are forwarded to the virtual desktop.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for enhanced alert generation based on real-time manipulation of datasets. An example method includes accessing datasets including a plurality of rows each indicating a plurality of values. Occurrences of alert definitions are monitored via applying the alert definitions to the datasets, the alert definitions specifying expressions utilizing one or more of the values, with an occurrence of an alert definition indicating satisfaction of the specified expression and causing an associated alert to be generated for evaluation. Presentation of an interactive user interface associated with customizing alert definitions is caused. The interactive user interface presents a first visual portion, the first visual portion enabling specification of an expression for a customized alert definition.

Abstract: An object processing method includes: detecting, on a client, a first target gesture performed on a first target area in a virtual scene displayed on the client; displaying a second target area on the client in response to the first target gesture, the second target area including a plurality of to-be-processed objects in the virtual scene; detecting, on the client, a second target gesture performed on a first target object in the plurality of to-be-processed objects; and using the first target object in the virtual scene, displaying the first target object in a third target area in the virtual scene, and hiding the second target area in the virtual scene in response to the second target gesture. The third target area is a shortcut display area of the client.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for receiving a background image for a media overlay to be applied to a message comprising an image or video, and at least one smart widget selection, and storing the media overlay comprising the background image and the at least one smart widget selection. The systems and methods further provide for receiving a request for the media overlay to be applied to a message comprising an image or video, analyzing context data associated with a computing device to determine that the media overlay is relevant to at least one aspect of the context data, determining data associated with the at least one smart widget based on the context data, and transmitting to the computing device, the media overlay and data associated with the at least one smart widget.

The device may be configured to receive a user selection of a media item for playback at a plurality of diverse destination devices using a unified graphical user interface. The device may be configured to transmit respective commands such that the media item is paused at a start position without audible playback occurring at each of the destination devices.

Abstract: A media display system for a vehicle that includes a first image sensor, a second image sensor, and an electronic device. The first image sensor is inside the vehicle and the second image sensor is outside the vehicle. The electronic apparatus determines a direction-of-view of an occupant of the vehicle based on user information of the occupant. The electronic apparatus further controls the second image sensor to capture a portion of view surrounding the vehicle in the determined direction-of-view of the occupant. The portion of view comprises an object-of-interest of the occupant. The electronic apparatus further control display of an interactive content on a display medium based on a user input on the object-of-interest, wherein the interactive content comprises items related to the object-of-interest. The electronic apparatus further controls navigation through the object-of-interest and remote selection of the items in the interactive content.

Abstract: The illustrative embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for notifying a user when a set of characters are identified in a media file. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a set of characters inputted by the user of a computing device, playing the media file, transcribing the media file to form a transcription, and determining whether the transcription of the media file includes the set of characters. The method also includes initiating a notification prompt on a graphical user interface of the computing device in response to determining that the media file includes the set of characters.

Abstract: A system includes a processor configured to determine a set of context-variable values, responsive to a restriction imposition resulting in a limited-display capability for displaying selectable application icons. The processor is also configured to determine a correlation between the context-variable values and context states saved for each of a plurality of applications displayable as selectable application icons and display a predefined number of the plurality of selectable application icons corresponding to the applications having the highest correlation with the context-variable values.

Abstract: There is provided a method of providing a multi-channel electronic communication capability allowing a provider to communicate with a plurality of end user terminals corresponding to a plurality of terminal platforms. The method comprises: providing a repository of mini applications being executable on all of the plurality of the terminal platforms. A function and an appearance of the mini applications is editable by the provider. The mini applications are configured to be stored and executed on the end user terminals. The method also comprises providing a WYSIWYG layout editor engine in communication with the repository. The layout editor engine is configured to allow the provider to build a communication interface corresponding to each of the plurality of terminal platforms. The building the communication interface comprises, for each terminal platform: selecting one or more mini applications from the repository, and arranging a layout of the selected mini applications.

Abstract: A system for including visualization annotations on folders, files and media in a computer filesystem is disclosed. The system enables the use of a plurality of methods for customizing the fonts, icons shapes, icon sizes and other visual attributes of filesystem artifacts and enables these annotations to be updated upon the occurrence of certain events so as to effectuate the process of audiovisual reminders for user and drawing their attention to contingencies specified through rules or macros. The system integrates with a computer electronic mail system to automatically save or facilitate the user in saving files attached to email messages from specified addresses into designated folders that are programmed to offer audiovisual cues to the user and draw their attention to priority documents. Similarly, uploading and attaching files to email addressed to a particular recipient is facilitated by designating email-specific preferred folders.
