  • Patent number: 11511831
Abstract: A wing, buoyant in water has an upper wing surface comprising a deck upon which a rider stands, and, the wing is in water. A foot constraint proximate the wing leading edge and fixedly attaching the wing projects outwardly from the deck to release-ably receive the rider's forward foot. With the rider standing with both feet upon the deck, and the rider's forward foot ensconced within the foot constraint, and with the rider's aft foot proximate a trailing edge of the wing, the rider bodily heaves and pitches the wing to obtain a chordwise forward velocity thru the water. The forward foot constraint enables the rider to upheave the wing. A second foot constraint may attach the deck proximate the wing trailing edge. Another foot constraining system is comprised as a frictional device broadly applying the deck, and, may be used in addition to or in lieu of other constraints.

  • Patent number: 11505297
Abstract: Ultra-large marine submersible transport boats and arrangements for aqueous bulk liquids transportation, including fresh water and irrigation drainage, from specifically configured supply stations to specifically configured delivery stations. Boats present rigid hydrodynamic shaped double-walled submersible hulls incorporating a plurality of inside-reinforced impervious ballast chambers and also present radial reinforcing elements and hollow interior cavities that enclose collapsible bulk liquid bladders for transporting bulk liquids. Hulls can be made of reinforced concrete. Hull openings permit seawater circulation, avoiding transportation of bulk ballast seawater. Submersible cruising reduces structural loads and drag. An on-board hydro-pneumatic ballasting system adds to and removes reusable hull ballast water from, the ballast chambers controlling the hull's depth, pitch, and roll.

  • Patent number: 11479329
Abstract: A catamaran lifting apparatus is disclosed for lifting objects in a marine environment. The apparatus includes first and second vessels that are spaced apart during use. A first frame spans between the vessels. A second frame spans between the vessels. The frames are spaced apart and connected to the vessels in a configuration that spaces the vessels apart. The first frame connects to the first vessel with a universal joint and to the second vessel with a hinged connection. The second frame connects to the second vessel with a universal joint and to the first vessel with a hinged or pinned connection. Each of the frames provides a space under the frame and in between the barges that enables a package to be lifted and/or a marine vessel to be positioned in between the barges and under the frames. In this fashion, an object that has been salvaged from the seabed can be placed upon the marine vessel that is positioned in between the barges and under the frames.

  • Patent number: 11479327
Abstract: Provided herein is a pet carrier system for providing a defined area on a kayak for safe travel of a pet. In some embodiments, the pet carrier system includes a corral made of at least three vertical posts securable to the kayak, at least two railing bars connecting the three vertical posts, and at least three connectors for securing the vertical posts to the kayak. The corral provides a fenced structure from the front end of the kayak up to the area in front of the cockpit of the kayak. The system would dissuade a pet from moving transversely relative to the longitudinal axis of the kayak and would persuade the pet to either remain in the defined space or to move relatively aligned with the longitudinal axis of the kayak. This way, the pet is less likely to overstep onto either side of the kayak and cause the kayak to capsize.

  • Patent number: 11465726
Abstract: A control system for posture control tabs of a marine vessel assists operations of a steering control. The posture control tabs are mounted on a stern of a hull to move up or down to control a posture of the hull. Actuators actuate the respective posture control tabs. When a steering instruction is provided through the steering control, a processor determines the posture control tab to be actuated and controls the actuator corresponding to the posture control tab determined to be actuated so as to change the position of the determined posture control tab.

  • Patent number: 11453467
Abstract: A control system for posture control tabs of a marine vessel prevents posture control tabs from coming into contact with a foreign object. The posture control tabs are mounted on a stern to control a posture of a hull. Actuators actuate the respective posture control tabs. When it is judged that that the hull is being loaded onto a trailer or it is detected that the hull has entered a speed restriction zone, a controller controls the actuators to position the posture control tabs at retracted positions.
