Abstract: Described embodiments enable the automatic uploading and sharing of objects via a content management system (CMS). A user of a client device may request to share an object via a user interface. Prior to the request, the object may be stored in a storage location of the client device that is not synchronized with the CMS. In one embodiment, client software detects a “click-and-drag” operation of an object and provide a sharing element into which an object may be dropped for sharing. The CMS receives the sharing request and may automatically initiate a sharing process comprising receiving the object from the client device, storing the object in the CMS, generating a link to the object, and sending the link to indicated or pre-determined recipient(s). In various embodiments, the objects are synchronized with the CMS and/or organized according to various object parameters within a directory of the CMS.

Abstract: Methods of managing a fleet of devices are provided, as are methods for configuring a standby device for a job in a workflow environment, and methods for performing a job in a workflow environment. Device information is analyzed, such as information pertaining to verification systems. Device instructions are sent to various locations on a device network in response to a deviation from a parameter value having been detected. The deviation from the parameter value may correspond to printed media and/or indicia produced by one or more devices. A workflow device and a standby device are provided, and the workflow device sends configuration data to the standby device. The standby device installs configuration data and is introduced into the workflow environment.

An example method may include transmitting, by a computer system, a search request to a plurality of search peers of a data aggregation and analysis system; receiving a plurality of data packets from the plurality of search peers; parsing one or more data packets of the plurality of data packets, to produce a response to the search request; and splitting the response into two or more fields based on at least one of: a defined set of bit positions or a defined separator.

Abstract: An object-based storage system comprising a host system capable of executing applications for and with an object-based storage device (OSD). Exemplary configurations include a call interface, a physical layer interface, an object-based storage solid-state device (OSD-SSD), and are further characterized by the presence of a storage processor capable of processing object-based storage device algorithms interleaved with processing of physical storage device management. Embodiments include a storage controller capable of executing recognition, classification and tagging of application files, especially including image, music, and other media. Abstract: An integrated security system is described that integrates broadband and mobile access and control with conventional security systems and premise devices to provide a tri-mode security network (broadband, cellular/GSM, POTS access) that enables users to remotely stay connected to their premises. The integrated security system, while delivering remote premise monitoring and control functionality to conventional monitored premise protection, complements existing premise protection equipment. The integrated security system integrates into the premise network and couples wirelessly with the conventional security panel, enabling broadband access to premise security systems. Automation devices (cameras, lamp modules, thermostats, etc.) can be added, enabling users to remotely see live video and/or pictures and control home devices via their personal web portal or webpage, mobile phone, and/or other remote client device.

It may be determined whether to pre-deliver at least a first portion of an item of content based at least on the predicted future data connection quality. Abstract: A source node can append a unique identifier to an outbound client packet, transmit the outbound client packet to a recipient node via a port, and create a transmission record including: the unique identifier, a time stamp of the outbound client packet, and an identifier for the port. The source node can receive an inbound client packet that is appended with the unique identifier and a delta time indicating an amount of elapsed time between the recipient node receiving the outbound client packet and the recipient node transmitting the inbound client packet. The source node can determine a performance level of a VPN tunnel provided by the port based on the time stamp value of the outbound client packet, the delta time, and a time stamp value of the inbound client packet indicating a time at which the inbound client packet was received by the source node.
