Abstract: An example method is provided for encoding text for language processing. The method may be executed by a processing system, and the method includes receiving text comprising a plurality of alphanumeric characters or symbols and converting the text into a numerical vector comprising a plurality of numerical values, by mapping each alphanumeric character or symbol of the text to a vertex coordinate of one of a plurality of vertices of a hypercube, wherein a number of the plurality of vertices is equal to or greater than a number of the plurality of alphanumeric characters or symbols, wherein the numerical vector consumes less space in memory than the text. An amount of time consumed by language processing of the numerical vector may be less than an amount of time consumed by language processing of the text.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to managing character encoding. A plurality characters that are each encoded as code units based on a character code may be provided such that the code units for each character represents a code point of a character encoding scheme. An encoding model may be determined based on the character code, one or more processor features, and a target character code. Process features may be employed to transform the code units into target code units based on the encoding model such that the target code units are based on the target character code and such that the target code units encode the code point for each character. The plurality of target characters may be provided to a target stream such that each target character may be encoded as the target code units.

Abstract: A collaboration system provides a collaboration interface for display to interacting users. The collaboration system analyzes messages among a group of users to determine an intent of the group to collaborate. When an intent is assigned to a set of messages, the collaboration system generates collaboration interfaces to prompt each of the users to select their preferred values for attributes of the collaboration, such as a meeting location, time, and date. The user selections are recorded in a collaboration data object which is monitored for matching selections. When multiple users have selection the same values for attributes of the collaboration the collaboration data object is locked from further changes and the collaboration system executes tasks to resolve the intent such as booking tickets, making reservations, and providing confirmation messages to the collaborating users.

Abstract: A system and a method use an application on a mobile device to transfer internet media content to a rendering device in a home network. The application may use an HTML rendering engine to display a web page to a user of the mobile device, and the web page may have controls for accessing the internet media content. The application may receive a user interaction signal which may indicate that a user invoked one of the controls for accessing the internet media content. In response, the application may initiate transfer of the internet media content to the rendering device in the home network and/or may queue the internet media content for later playback using the rendering device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for rendering a secure document with a text selection capability. The methods comprise, by a processor creating a graphic that includes at least one non-text object of a source document and a watermark, adding the graphic onto a base document, and creating a secure document by adding one or more text objects from the source document onto the base document, the secured document configured to enable text selection of the one or more of the added text objects. The secure document includes a file format that is different than that of the source document.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to method and system for providing user-specific explanations for an output generated by an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model. The method may include receiving a training dataset, and identifying one or more relevant features from the training dataset. The method may further include distributing the one or more relevant features into a plurality of groups. The plurality of groups may correspond to a plurality of levels of domain knowledge of users. The method may further include generating a plurality of vocabularies of explanations for an output generated by the ANN model for the training dataset corresponding to the plurality of groups, using the one or more relevant features.

Abstract: Methods and systems for predicting keystrokes using a neural network analyzing cumulative effects of a plurality of factors impacting the typing behavior of a user. The factors may include typing pattern, previous keystrokes, specifics of keyboard used for typing, and contextual parameters pertaining to a device displaying the keyboard and the user. A plurality of features may be extracted and fused to obtain a plurality of feature vectors. The plurality of feature vectors can be optimized and processed by the neural network to identify known features and learn unknown features that are impacting the typing behavior. Thereby, the neural network predicts keystrokes using the known and unknown features.

Abstract: An input text that is also transmitted to a text processing service (e.g., a cloud based text processing service) is received. Characterizing information (e.g., contiguous parts of speech, terms used per part of speech, payload length, etc.) is extracted from the input text. A text payload is generated using the characterizing information. A performance test is run on the text payload. The performance test can include performing at least one selected from a group consisting of: sentiment analysis on the text payload, entity analysis on the text payload, content classification on the text payload, and syntax analysis on the text payload. The performance test can yield a processing time required to perform the performance test. Memory and processing power resource allocation to the text processing service can be altered based on the processing time of the performance test.

Abstract: A website building system (WBS) includes a layout database to store at least one layout having components and an associated layout signature. It also includes a unit to determine a component set signature for an incoming component set having an existing layout provided by a user, to compare the component set signature with at least one associated layout signature of at least one layout from the database to find a match and to replace the existing layout with one of a selected diverse alternative candidate layout from the database according the match. The layout signature and the component set signature represent a hierarchical composition of the semantic types of the components of the layout and of the incoming component set accordingly. A layout adapter and applier adapts content from the user supplied component set to the selected diverse alternative candidate layout.

Abstract: A method includes detecting control of an active content creation tool of an interactive computing system in response to a user input received at a user interface of the interactive computing system. The method also includes automatically updating a video search query based on the detected control of the active content creation tool to include context information about the active content creation tool. Further, the method includes performing a video search of video captions from a video database using the video search query and providing search results of the video search to the user interface of the interactive computing system.

Abstract: A processor may launch a common layer including a browser and a shell. The processor may identify a request for data required by the software platform. The processor may determine a context in which the request was generated by detecting, by the shell, whether the software platform is an on-premise solution or a cloud solution; examining, by the shell, the request to determine whether it requires local resources or cloud-based resources; and designating, by the shell, the context as a cloud-based context or an on-premise context based on the detecting and the examining. Abstract: A control method for displaying inspection images causes a processor to display an image of a model of an inspection object including a plurality of inspection sites, in a first display region and display first inspection information relevant to at least one inspection site, in a second display region, where the at least one inspection site is selected from the plurality of inspection sites in the image of the model displayed in the first display region. The control method further causes the processor to display inspection information prior to the first inspection information, as second inspection information relevant to the model, in a third display region, concurrently with one or more of the first display region and the second display region.
