Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to facilitating routing of communications. More specifically, techniques are provided to dynamically route messages having certain intents between bots and user devices during communication sessions configured with multi-channel capabilities.

Abstract: Improved methods for retrieval of content from CDNs is provided that includes a rendezvous controller that receives information of an identification of content being requested and an estimated location of a content requesting device. Based on this information, the rendezvous system identifies a server within a CDN from which the requested content may be retrieved. The selected server may be based on a repeatable hash function such that the likelihood that the content being requested is cached at the selected server. Steering requests to a server of the CDN which may have the content cached may reduce the number of servers within the CDN with the same cached content, particularly for the highest requested content. The rendezvous system may then return a corresponding domain name associated with the selected server and that can be subsequently submitted to a DNS for resolution to the IP address of the identified server.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a communication method and a system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The disclosure relates to apparatuses and methods for detecting a specific service through a network data analytics function (NWDAF) in a mobile communication system and analyzing a characteristic related to the service.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to optimize bandwidth usage associated with a local network. As part of the bandwidth optimization techniques, an authentication entity may receive an indication of an access profile selected by a user of an electronic device. The authentication entity may assign the access profile to the electronic device. Accordingly, when the electronic device transmits data, a network regulation entity may process the traffic in accordance with the access profile. To this end, the network regulation entity may correspond communication sessions within the traffic to an application. The network regulation entity may then query the access profile to determine a priority for each application. When the traffic exceeds a threshold byte volume, the network regulation entity may queue lower priority communication sessions. By processing the traffic based upon a user-indicated access profile, compliance with network neutrality principles may be maintained.

Abstract: In a method for managing and distributing content in a plurality of observation platforms, a message is generated with employment related content at a cloud based component of a content distribution manager in response to user interaction via an interface of the content distribution manager presented on a computer system. Responsive to the user interactions and to interactions of third party software via an application program interface with the cloud based component, delivery of the message is scheduled and a plurality of specified devices belonging to a specified class of employees are specified for delivery in a plurality of observation platforms at a designated time and location via the cloud based component. The message is delivered and the delivery and response to the message are measured to the plurality of observation platforms which relay the message to the plurality of specified devices at the designated time and the designated location.

Abstract: A method including configuring a transmit process to store information including a queue of packets to be transmitted, the queue defining transmit process packets to be transmitted, each packet associated with a transmission time, and configuring a synchronization process to receive from the transmit process at least some of the information. The synchronization process performs one of: A) accessing a dummy send queue and a completion queue, and transmitting one or more of the transmit process packets in accordance with a completion queue entry in the completion queue, and B) sends a doorbell to transmission hardware at a time when at least one of the transmit process packets is to be transmitted, the synchronization process including a master queue configured to store transmission entries, each transmission entry including a transmit process indicator and an indication of transmit process packets to be transmitted. The management system further monitors state information for the incident in the IT environment, identifies a second status of the incident based on the monitored state, and provides the second status for display to the analyst.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of diagnostic technologies of a vehicle, and specifically disclose a diagnostic method for a vehicle. The method includes: receiving, by a diagnostic server, a connection request message sent by a terminal, the connection request message being used to request address information of a diagnostic server corresponding to a to-be-diagnosed vehicle; determining the corresponding diagnostic server according to the connection request message; and sending the address information of the diagnostic server to the terminal, so that the terminal establishes a communication connection with the diagnostic server according to the address information. According to the foregoing technical solutions, in the embodiments of the present invention, a plurality of vehicle can be diagnosed by using the terminal, improving diagnostic efficiency and achieving relatively high user experience.

The holder (i.e., resource provider) of the resource distribution instrument can use the resource distribution instrument to communicate to a mobile communication device having an NFC reader to read the instructions and process a resource distribution according to the parameters of the mobile device application. As such, the holder (i.e., resource provider) of the resource distribution request can process the resource distribution without having to issue a credentials, aliases, pin codes, and the like conventionally used to authorizes the distribution of resources to the resource requester.

Each connection pool can facilitate connections between source devices and the target service, while ensuring that connections to the connection-limited service do not exceed a defined limit. A connection manager service can initialize a connection pool for a target service on request by a client device, and provide an identifier for the connection pool to the client device. Source network devices can then transmit operations for the target service to the connection manager service, which can route the operations to an appropriate connection pool based on the identifier.

Abstract: Techniques for managing configuration of virtual switches in a virtual machine network are disclosed. In an embodiment, a virtual machine network that includes virtual switches is configured to revert back to a saved network configuration if a configuration change causes the connection between the VM management system and a managed node to be lost. For example, before any configuration changes are made, the active configuration is saved. If the new configuration supports a working connection between the managed node and the VM management system, then the saved configuration is no longer needed and can be flushed from memory. If, however, the new configuration causes the managed node to be disconnected from the VM management system, then the system reverts back to the saved configuration that was previously known to work. The saved configuration is used to reestablish the connection so that the network continues to function.
