Abstract: Techniques for providing a message-based collaboration including receiving, from a message communications system, an electronic message, the electronic message including content, and associated with one or more characteristics; comparing at least one of the one or more characteristics of the electronic message to one or more triggering rules; based on the comparing, converting the content of the electronic message to a format of a collaboration communications system; and preparing a collaboration message employed within the collaboration communications system for electronic transmission that includes the converted content of the electronic message.

Abstract: In a message delivery system, messages are published by publishers and delivered to subscribers based on subscriptions relating to message content. Activation and de-activation notifications are supplied to applications that are bound to a queue in the message delivery system.

Abstract: A client application server (CAS) can include a presence layer configured to compute a published presence state for a client of the given CAS that characterizes at least one of an ability and a willingness of the client to communicate with another communication endpoint. The presence layer can also be configured to provide the published presence state for the client to a presence layer of at least another CAS according to a subscription request provided from the another CAS.

Abstract: In a multi-tenancy information processing system, a necessary setting change item and a target NW device are specified at the time of changing a configuration of a virtual machine of a tenant. A management server 116 includes a device management table 352 for each tenant and each segment, in which an NW setting item set for a network (NW) device is stored for each of the NW devices corresponding to the segment of the tenant, in advance. The management server 116 receives a configuration change request including type information on a request representing addition, deletion, or movement of the virtual machine, an identifier of a target tenant, and an identifier of a target segment.

Abstract: Continuity of an entire user session (including the primary content stream, secondary content streams, and user context) is preserved so that the user can resume the session at a later time, at a different place, and, possibly, using different equipment. When a user pauses a session, the context of that session is automatically preserved. Upon resumption, the session begins where the user left off, resuming the primary media stream at the point where the user stopped, knowing what secondary content items the user has already seen, and re-establishing any user-set parameters for the session (e.g., playback volume, allocation of streams to particular screen real estate, whether closed captioning is turned on, and the like). For time-shifted content consumption, the system intelligently selects, filters, and processes contextual information (such as characteristics of the primary media) in order to present companion streams that are relevant and engaging to the user.

Abstract: A network I/O system includes a central communication unit having a communication port and a plurality of terminal communication units each having an upstream communication port and a plurality of downstream ports wherein the central communication unit transmits, to the terminal communication units, routing data of the central communication unit to the terminal communication units for setting identification numbers in the terminal communication units and data of the identification number of the terminal communication units, the terminal communication units refer to the data to transmit to the downstream communication port and set the identification number in a targeted terminal communication unit, and a communication port number of the downstream communication port is appended to routing recognition data to be transmitted from the terminal communication units to the central communication unit at a time of passing through the terminal communication units, thereby recognizing a network configuration.

Abstract: A method for searching target clients, applied to a mobile device coupled to a network, is provided. A target position and a target time are generated by a positioning unit and a time generating unit of the mobile device, respectively. A target clients search message is generated according to keywords input into the mobile device, the target position and the target time and then transmitted to a server coupled to the network through the network. Then a search result transmitted by the server through the network is received. The search result comprises at least one of a target clients amount, a target clients density and a target clients occurrence probability, which are retrieved from at least one social networks data and corresponding to the keywords, the target location and the target time. A map combined with the search result is displayed.

Abstract: Technologies are presented for providing a suggestion list presenting options for posting information related to viewed content on a communication network. In some examples, a user may desire to contribute to posted content by adding comments and other relevant information. A system may identify one or more key terms included in the viewed content, and may compare the key terms with content, such as files, emails, websites, images and media content, on computing devices and web browser histories associated with the user to identify information that may be related to the viewed content. If the system identifies information related to the key terms of the viewed content, the system may present the identified information associated with key terms to the user, and may enable selection from a posting suggestion list for automatically posting.

Abstract: An improved method for controlling a computer device user's email accessibility to an email receiver includes the steps of: (a) providing software configured to generate a unique email address link for use by the email sender, (b) configuring this email address link to include code that causes any email message created by the email sender to have included within it a token which identifies the email sender and causes the email server handling this message to communicate with the server on which the software is running for the purpose of receiving authorization from this server as to whether to deliver the email message to its intended receiver, and (c) establishing a set of rules which seeks to restrict the email message of spammers from being authorized for delivery to the email receiver.

Abstract: The present invention relate to a content caching device, and more particularly, to such a content caching device in which the priority of a content requested by a user terminal is calculated based on content usage features such as the number of requests or the latest request interval of the requested content, and the like, the requested content is controlled to be selectively stored in a short-term storage unit based on the calculated priority of the requested content, and among the contents stored in the short-term storage unit, a content needed to be stored for a long time period is controlled to be stored in a separate long-term storage unit based on the storage time of the requested content in the short-term storage unit.
