The dispensing mechanism for the article vending machine includes a drive section that is disposed in an article storing shelf 13 and on which articles arranged in a front-rear direction are carried, the drive section being configured to drive based on a vending command, and a belt conveyor unit 57 that sequentially dispenses the articles forward, the belt conveyor unit 57 includes two belt conveyors 71 moving forward and arranged away from each other in a right-left direction, and a detection unit 100 of an article detection device and a gear to drive a rear rotary shaft over which belts of the belt conveyors 71 are looped are arranged between the two belt conveyors 71.

Abstract: A pill dispenser has a case, a pill storage plate, a turning assembly, and an operation assembly. The case has a dispensing hole formed on a bottom of the case. The pill storage plate is pivotally mounted in the case and has multiple pill chambers arranged around and adapted to sequentially align to and communicate with the dispensing hole when the pill storage plate is turned. The turning assembly is mounted in the case. The operation assembly has a pushing lever and an actuating unit. The pushing lever is pivotally mounted through the case. The actuating unit is located inside the case and fixed to the pushing lever. When the pushing lever pivots relative to the case, the actuating unit pushes the turning assembly and then the turning assembly turns the pill storage plate. By this, the pill dispenser is capable of dispensing pills immediately upon a simple and effort-saving operation.

Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for automated dispensing of individual medicament portions. The systems can include a housing that encloses a receiving space having a bottom surface. A separation device may be provided and arranged on the bottom surface with at least one channel to receive at least one medicament portion. At least one channel may have an opening facing the receiving space and an opening facing the bottom surface. The opening facing the bottom surface may be associated with a contact area on the bottom surface, over which contact area the medicament portions may be guided upon a movement of separation device. At least one recess may be arranged in the bottom surface outside of the contact area to receive contamination particles present in the container.

Abstract: A medication dispensing apparatus is provided herein along with computer-useable instructions embodied on a microcontroller for control of said medication dispensing apparatus. Instructions may be embodied on the microcontroller to control a dosing of medication via a coupled motor. The microcontroller controls rotation of the motor to line up a cavity with a dispensing port such that medication from a medication container (e.g., pill bottle) is dispensed via the dispensing apparatus.

The cartridge assembly comprises a carrier reel, distal and proximal take-up reels, and a packaging strip comprising first and second strip portions detachably secured to define a plurality of item chambers, where at least one item is enclosed within each of the item chambers. The main housing assembly defines a dispensing opening and comprises a drive system. The drive system is operatively connected to the proximal and distal take-up reels. Operation of the drive system rotates the distal and proximal take-up reels such that operation of the drive system rotates the distal and proximal take-up reels such that the packaging strip is unwound from the main wheel, the first strip portion is wound onto the distal take-up reel, the second strip portion is wound onto the proximal take-up reel, and the items are dispensed through the dispensing opening.

Abstract: A vending machine with a curved exterior shape is disclosed. Some embodiments of the vending machine are circular in design, and include a transparent upper housing that allows customers to see into the interior of the vending machine. Products for vending may be stored in a non-transparent lower housing. A centrally-located product delivery system transports products for vending from the lower housing to delivery portals located on the upper housing. The product delivery system is able to move along a vertical line and rotate through the horizontal plane and can deliver products from any portion of the lower housing to any delivery portals located on the upper housing.
