  • Patent number: 6520826
Abstract: A fragrance dispensing device suitable for incorporation into a plush figure. In one of the preferred embodiments of this invention, the fragrance dispensing device comprises a hollow body in the form of a sphere or a ball having a slit valve or a one-way valve disposed within the wall of the hollow body. A scented cartridge is inserted into the hollow body through the valve or some other resealable opening in the hollow body. In the preferred embodiments of this invention, the fragrance dispensing device is encompassed within an appendage or the head of a stuffed animal figure. Once the hollow is charged with the fragrance cartridge, it can be compressed so as to force a discrete charge of scented air from within the hollow body, into its surrounding core material which make the filler of the stuffed animal figure. The amount of fragrance dispensed from within the hollow body is based, in part, upon the volume of the hollow body and the partial pressure of the fragrance within the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 6517408
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention there is disclosed a toy bicycle that includes a rear wheel assembly rotatably connected to the bicycle. The rear wheel assembly encloses a flywheel and a means of interconnecting the flywheel and the rear wheel. The interconnecting means serves to energize the flywheel in response to a rotational force applied to the rear wheel and when the rotational force is removed the interconnecting means will continue to rotate the rear wheel in response to the inertia of the energized flywheel. An articulated rider, mounted to the seat of the bicycle, includes hands rotatably attached to handlebars and feet attached to pedals of the bicycle. When the bicycle is in motion, the articulated rider appears to pedal and operate the bicycle. The bicycle also includes a charger that engages and rotates the rear wheel of the bicycle and as such, energizes the flywheel.

  • Patent number: 6508691
Abstract: A built-up spinning top includes a turning wheel detachably connected to a fixing plate at a long opening thereof. The long opening has teeth provided along an inner edge thereof to mesh with a tooth gear of the turning wheel. An actuating handle is provided to detachably engage with a disc located at a bottom of the turning wheel, in order to move the turning wheel along the long opening. The meshing of the tooth gear with the teeth on the long opening brings the turning wheel to rotate while being moved along the long opening. Whereby when the spinning top is moved beyond the long opening to separate from the fixing plate, it keeps spinning on a plane surface just like a general spinning top. A user can effortlessly turn the built-up spinning top with the actuating handle to create a lot of fun.

  • Patent number: 6506095
Abstract: The present invention includes a doll defined by an upper half hingedly attached to a lower half. A spring means attached to the upper and lower halves resiliently place the halves in a substantially planar position. A locking mechanism is included for retaining the halves in a substantially non-planar position, when the locking mechanism is engaged. A motor means is also attached to the upper and lower halves for moving the halves in a substantially non-planar position. When the motor means moves the upper and lower halves a predetermined distance, the locking mechanism engages and the upper and lower halves are maintained in the substantially non-planar position. The doll may be moved from a standing position into a sitting position; from a sitting position into a laying position; a laying position into a sitting position and a laying position into a laying position with the lower half angled upwardly.
