Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are described herein that enable the identification and correction of incorrect and/or inconsistent tones in the bright regions in an HDR image. A bright region is identified in an image. The bright region is classified into an assigned classification. A luminance value of the bright region is determined and compared to a predefined luminance values corresponding to the classification. The luminance value of the bright region is adjusted to match the predefined luminance values where there is a mismatch. Bright regions including mismatched or incorrect luminance values may be rendered on display to include a visual indicator that such regions include mismatched luminance values.
Abstract: A server apparatus includes a controller circuit configured to obtain a use time period and a use amount of each of multiple client apparatuses, calculate a use percentage of each of the multiple client apparatuses of each use time period on a basis of the use amount, determine a recommended time period on a basis of the use percentage of each of the multiple client apparatuses, the recommended time period being a time period in which a largest number of client apparatuses are to be maintained, and specify the largest number of client apparatuses to be maintained during the recommended time period.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a display and a control device. The control device functions as: a detector detecting a trouble occurred in an own apparatus; and a controller. The controller performs, with respect to a trouble-displaying image including a two-dimensional code in which a storage location on a network is converted into an image, at least one of three outputs of displaying on the display, printing on a recording sheet, and transmitting to an external apparatus. The storage location is where information indicating a method for dealing with the trouble detected by the detector is stored. Based on a predetermined first degree using at least either difficulty in solving the trouble or seriousness of the trouble as an indicator, the controller changes a size of the two-dimensional code corresponding to the trouble so as to be larger as the first degree becomes higher, and then outputs the two-dimensional code.

Abstract: The disclosure discloses methods and systems for assisting users via interactive voice-based job-related instructions. The method includes receiving a job having one or more attributes. A call from a mobile device of the user is received and a connection is established between the mobile device and a multi-function device. It is then checked whether the mobile device is a registered mobile device. Based on the check, an interactive voice response unit is automatically activated over the established the call. Then, one or more voice-based instructions are sent to change at least one attribute related to the job. Based on the voice-based instructions, an input key submitted through the mobile device is received to change the at least one attribute. The at least one attribute is changed at the multi-function device in real-time. Finally, the job is printed in accordance with the at least one changed attribute and remaining attributes.
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a system for facilitating a printer recommendation in an enterprise environment. During operation, the system receives, from a user device in the enterprise environment, a print task for a file. The system then determines a list of printers accessible from the enterprise environment based on metadata associated with the file from a printer database. The printer database stores information associated with a respective printer accessible from the enterprise environment. A respective printer in the list of printers can be available and feasible for the print task. The system then ranks the list of printers with respect to an objective of the print task and presents the ranked list as a printer recommendation for the print task in a user interface to the user.
Abstract: A memory control method receives a read request data set including a management ID and requesting reading of data from a memory, transmits read data that is read corresponding to the read request, stores write data temporarily in a write buffer, stores the read data read from the memory temporarily in a read buffer, stores write control data and read control data in an arbitration queue, executes an arbitration that determines a priority order of processing taking the write control data and the read control data that are stored in the arbitration queue as targets, and matches an order of transmitting a plurality of pieces of read data that are read from the memory corresponding to the read control data selected based on the determined priority order and are associated with an identical management ID to an order of receiving the read request data set.
