Abstract: An electronic device includes a display and a control unit. The control unit includes a processor and functions, when the processor executes a control program, as a screenshot executing section and a control section. The screenshot executing section acquires an image being displayed on the display. The control section performs authentication processing authenticating a user. When an image that requires authentication of the user is being displayed on the display, the control section forbids the screenshot executing section to acquire the image. When an image that requires no authentication of the user is being displayed on the display, the control section permits the screenshot executing section to acquire the image.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for using augmented reality to assist in capturing data from a document are described. The method may include capturing, with a camera of a mobile device, an image of a first region of a document. The method may also include determining, by a processor of the mobile device, a dimension of the first region relative to the document. The method may also include rendering, in a display of the mobile device, an image of the document in an augmented reality scene with a first augmented reality overlay rendered over the first region of the image of the document and a second augmented reality overlay rendered over a second region of the document, the first region and the second region being different regions of the document.

The memory control unit is configured to control allocation a memory area to the interpretation unit. Abstract: A printer includes a plurality of dot clock signal generators, each of which generates dot clock signals for operating ejectors in a printhead in a color station of the printer. The dot clock signal generators are connected in a chain that corresponds to the process direction of the color stations in the printer. Each dot clock signal generator is configured to count dot clock signals of a preceding dot clock signal generator in the chain or a reference clock generator to determine when the dot clock signal generator turns on and to count encoder signals corresponding to movement of a substrate through the printer to determine when to generate dot clock signals for a color station.

The processor includes an imbedded browser, and when the data type is website link, the embedded browser acquires related content corresponding to the link, the processor converts the related content into image information recognizable and printable by the image forming device. The image information is sent to the imager.
