Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for managing a merchant's set of terms and conditions that are applicable to a payment vehicle transaction. When a chargeback for the payment vehicle transaction is initiated and disputed, the applicable set of terms and conditions can be transmitted to an issuer financial institution on behalf of the merchant as part of the dispute process.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to a computer system associated with a first user identity and a user interface for configuring an account for use by one or more devices associated with a second user identity. The user interface includes a control for selecting between a first account option that enables transfers between the account and only a first set of user accounts and a second account option that enables transfers between the account and a second set of user accounts, the second set of user accounts including the first set of user accounts and one or more additional user accounts associated with additional users. In response to receiving a request to configure the account, the account is configured with the first account option when the first account option is selected and the account is configured with the second account option when the second account option is selected.

Abstract: Techniques are described for reducing the number of transactions required to perform operations for services that support many-to-many relationships between entities. A one-to-many operation that involves an entity of a first type and multiple entities of a second type may be performed in two asynchronous phases: a one-to-intermediary phase and an intermediary-to-many phase. During the one-to-intermediary phase, a single transaction is performed between the entity of the first type and an intermediary. During the intermediary-to-many phase, a distinct transaction is performed between the intermediary and each of the entities of the second type that are involved in the one-to-many operation. The transaction performed for a particular entity of the second type during the intermediary-to-many phase may aggregate all changes that affect the particular entity, thereby significantly reducing the number of transactions performed by the system.

Abstract: A computer-assisted method for providing re-quotations for insurance coverage may include receiving a list of insurance leads corresponding to individuals who received a previous quotation for insurance coverage but did not purchase the insurance coverage and identifying a difference between the previous quotation and a new quotation. This difference may include an increase in offered insurance coverage and/or a reduction in cost. A computing device may calculate a probability for each of the individuals on the list using a regression model based, at least in part, on the identified difference. In some cases, the regression model may be associated with individual states. In other cases, the regression model may correspond to a plurality of states. The regression model may output a probability that a resident of a particular state will purchase insurance in response to a re-quotation for insurance coverage, where individuals may then be ranked based on the probability.

Abstract: Method and system for buying and selling property tax liens and determining a property tax lien fair secondary market price are disclosed. The system comprises a terminal used to input parameters related to tax lien, a central processing computer calculating tax lien value and applying method based on system parameters and parameters inputted by remote system users, and an interface used to present the determined tax lien value to the users, register a trade of tax lien or a fraction of tax lien, manage or liquidate a property backing the tax lien. In different countries, tax liens or instruments using similar principals are known by different names, including tax deeds, redeemable tax deeds, delinquent property tax certificates, property tax sale certificates, and others. All such instruments are commonly referred to herein as tax liens.

The first device may select, from a memory storing a plurality of comparator signatures, a comparator signature for the signature based on the priority level. The first device may use the comparator signature to verify the signature to approve or deny the transaction. The first device may perform a comparison of the comparator signature and the signature in the image after processing the image and selecting the comparator signature.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for administering and/or managing an employer sponsored retirement plan such as a 401(k) plan can include a host system that supports a graphical user interface (GUI) that is displayable to a user communicating with the host system via a user computer device. The use can manipulate one or more input devices connected to the user's computer device for facilitating the communication of data to the host system and updating of displays of the GUI. The GUI can be configured to permit employee participants to enroll and manage their retirement accounts. The GUI can also be configured for employers that sponsor a retirement plan to communicate with the host system to manage their retirement plan and oversee administration of the plan. Displays of the GUI can be generated and updated by a user computer device display based on communications with the host system.

Abstract: When a payment transaction made by a user, a reminder data file is created including reminder items associated with the payment transaction. At least one of the reminder items is an image. Subsequently, a transaction statement listing one or more payment transactions is provided to the user, in a form in which each listed payment transaction is associated with an embedded link to the corresponding reminder data file, which permits the user to access the reminder data file. Thus, a user who is unable to recognize a payment transaction on the transaction statement, can use the statement to access the corresponding reminder items, to provide the user with a reminder of the details of the transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for facilitating network transactions based on user authentication. One exemplary method includes, for a network transaction, receiving, at a card device, an authentication command from an issuer of a payment account associated with the card device. A user of the card device is instructed, at an indicator of the card device, to provide a biometric for use in authenticating the user. Biometric data from the user is captured at biometric sensor of the card device, when the user provides the biometric, and the captured biometric data is compared with reference biometric data stored in a memory of the card device. The card device then returns a command reply to the issuer, where the command reply includes an authentication result based on the comparison, thereby permitting the issuer to employ the authentication result of the user in connection with the network transaction.

The system may perform operations that include receiving at least one audio stream corresponding to a real-time voice communication between a first user and a second user and identifying, based on the at least one audio stream, a set of words. The operation may also include determining that the set of words indicates a desired payment transaction between the first user and the second user and determining a payment amount to be remitted from the first user to the second user. According to certain aspects, operating data from sensors within or near the vehicle may be used to determine the occurrence of a vehicle accident, such as a collision. The operating data may further be used to determine an allocation of fault for the accident between a vehicle operator, the autonomous operation features, or a third party. The allocation of fault may be used to further determine and make claims payments related to the accident. In some embodiments, claims may be rejected based upon the operating data and determined allocation of fault.
