The system a sleeve with attachment means on the neck and hooking means of the pump, an articulation collar, the articulation collar and sleeve being mounted mobile with respect to one another between an end of motion position (PF) and a start of motion position (PI), a shrink ring configured to move along the articulation collar between a top disassembly position (PH), wherein the attachment means are free, and a bottom position (PB) of use, wherein the attachment means are engaged around the neck and wherein the start and end of motion positions (PI, PF) are arranged so that the articulation collar can go from the top disassembly position (PH) to the bottom position (PB) of use by a translational motion.

Abstract: A food product dispenser valve which comprises a mounting cup which has a grommet/stem opening formed therein; a grommet defining an axial passageway which extends along an axial length of the grommet and has a sealing edge formed in an upstream end thereof, and a body of the grommet extends through the grommet/stem opening; a valve stem accommodated within the passageway, and the valve stem has a sealing head which is spaced apart from a valve stem shoulder; and a dispensing actuator surrounds a portion of the body of the grommet which extends through the grommet/stem opening, and has a product discharge outlet. The spacing of the sealing head from the valve stem shoulder is less than an axially height of the grommet so that the grommet normally biases the sealing head into sealing engagement with the annular sealing edge to prevent flow through the food product dispenser valve.

Abstract: A dispensing system includes a container containing a flowable base formulation to be dispensed, an additive mixing device, and an actuable pump engine which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body with an internal cavity, an additive ingredient within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber between an input and an output. With each pump of the device the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.

Abstract: A pouring element for a package having a base body, a polyhedrally formed flange, the flange inner surfaces of which converge in face abutments, for joining to a package sleeve and at least one holding element projecting on the inside of the flange for operatively connecting to a mandrel of a packaging machine, as well as a pouring element with polyhedrally formed gable surfaces, which are correspondingly joined to the polyhedrally formed flange. Provision is made for the holding element to be formed as a rounding in the area of the face abutments on the inside of the flange, in order to prevent the pouring element from becoming damaged during the whole joining process with the package sleeve when putting the pouring element onto, holding it on and removing it from the mandrel and additionally in order to guarantee a secure and precise hold.

Abstract: An apparatus for capping the tip of the nozzle of a caulking tube retained in a caulking gun to prevent the caulking tube from leaking caulking material such as latex or silicone during non-use. The apparatus has a cap portion, a housing portion, and a retractable flexible cord to provide a retractable cap to be used with the caulking tube placed in a caulking gun to prevent leakage when the caulking gun and caulking tube are not in use. The housing contains a retraction member which is placed under force when the cap is pulled away from the retraction member and placed over the tip of the caulking tube nozzle. When the cap is removed from the caulking tube nozzle, the tension from the retraction member causes the flexible cord to pull the cap to a location adjacent the housing so that the cap can be easily retrieved and not lost.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a new and innovative container system for mixing and dispensing a solution, such as a cleaning solution, that includes a container, dispenser, and a cartridge. The cartridge includes a reservoir containing a concentrated solution and a snap portion that closes the reservoir. The dispenser includes a sleeve that engages with the snap portion as part of a cartridge release mechanism to release the cartridge's concentrated solution into the container. As the dispenser's cap is tightened to the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced downwards to engage the cartridge's snap portion and force the snap portion to disengage from the cartridge. The reservoir is therefore opened and its contents exit into the container's interior. As the dispenser's cap is disengaged from the container, the dispenser's sleeve is forced upwards, bringing the snap portion back to the cartridge and closing the reservoir.

Abstract: The aerosol actuator includes a shroud. An actuation member situated within the shroud has a stem bore pocket adapted to receive the valve stem of the aerosol container. In high speed production, entrance of the stem into the pocket as the shroud is mounted on the aerosol container is facilitated by providing the pocket with a plurality of inwardly extending compressible ribs and a tab extending from the shroud which stabilizes the actuation member within the shroud. The tab is pivoted out of the path of movement of the actuation member upon initial depression of the actuation member by the user.
