  • Patent number: 11479455
Abstract: A drink station is provided with an alkaline filter cartridge in fluid communication with an ambient temperature water line provide alkaline water, and with a chilled water mixed with the alkaline water at a spigot to provide chilled alkaline water. A hot water heating element is located below the spigot so hot water flows upward for dispensing from the spigot, with a vent line between the heating element and spigot helping hot water to flow from the spigot to the heating element. A refrigeration system and a carbonation system is also provided. The refrigeration system uses the ice-bank technology. A submersible agitator pump improves heat exchanged between ice-bank and water by forced convection. The agitator pump operating based on the temperature of the drinking water. A figure eight evaporator coil can provide two cylindrical ice banks and two chilled water coils to increase the chilled water capacity.

  • Patent number: 11453021
Abstract: A pump assembly which provides a frangible air vent mechanism for providing communication between the atmosphere and the interior of a bottle to which the pump assembly is to be coupled. A vent port is provided through a bottle cap member having an inner end open into the bottle and an outer end open to the atmosphere. A frangible plug member is received in the vent port with the frangible plug member when unbroken preventing flow through the vent port and the plug member when broken permitting flow through the vent port. A vent tab member is coupled to the frangible member with the vent tab member extending from the frangible member accessible on the exterior of the bottle cap member for engagement to apply forces to the vent tab that are translated to the frangible vent member to break the frangible member.

  • Patent number: 11453533
Abstract: The invention provides a cap for a container. The cap comprises a cover member having an outlet and at least one first opening; a base member engageable with the container and having an inlet; an adjusting member co-axially connected with and rotatably movable relative to the cover member and the base member; the adjusting member having at least one second opening adapted to cooperate with the at least one first opening to define a fluid flow passageway connecting the inlet of the base member with the outlet of the cover member; wherein the adjusting member is actuatable at an exterior of the cap, such that actuation of the adjusting member causes the at least one second opening to rotate relative to the at least one first opening thereby varying a size of the fluid flow passageway connecting the inlet of the base member with the outlet of the cover member.

  • Patent number: 11446681
Abstract: A liquid dispensing valve for dispensing of liquid solution, the liquid dispensing valve operable to create a vacuum buildup of pressure, such that the liquid moves on a recirculation path from the intake port to the output port. The recirculation of the liquid prevents sediment within the liquid from settling, and further prevents backpressure, and allows for continuous recirculation of the solution through a suction return line, providing generally consistent flow of liquid. The liquid dispensing valve's ability to minimize sediment buildup allows for a quick cleaning of the lines while also minimizing potential contamination of the general area.

  • Patent number: 11448541
Abstract: A dispenser includes a housing having an upper and a lower portion. The upper portion includes a storage compartment having a floor and retaining a granular substance. The lower portion includes a spout. A first outlet extends through the floor. A manually rotatable upper disc is disposed below the floor, and has a second outlet therethrough. A manually rotatable lower disc is disposed between the upper disc and the lower portion. The lower disc includes a third outlet therethrough. Rotation of the upper disc aligns the second outlet with the first outlet and the granular substance passes through the first to the second outlet. Rotation of the lower disc through one or more positions permits a variable amount of the granular substance to pass from the second to the third outlet. Further rotation of the lower disc aligns the third outlet with the spout to dispense the granular substance.

  • Patent number: 11439279
Abstract: A dispensing system includes a container within which a material is contained and an actuation device movably supported with respect to the container. The actuation device is movable between a first position and a second position. The dispensing system includes a control system. The control system includes an engagement portion in movable engagement with the actuation device. The control system includes a control portion. As the actuation device is moved from the first position to the second position a first time, the control portion does not restrain movement of either the engagement portion or the actuation device. As the actuation device is moved between the first position and the second position a second time within a predetermined time period after the first time, the control portion restrains movement of at least one of the engagement portion or the actuation device.

  • Patent number: 11440708
Abstract: A tamper-resistant nozzle assembly for preventing the unwanted or unintentional dispensing of a material from a container. The nozzle assembly may comprise a base adapted to fit on top of a container holding the material, a mechanism located within the base and configured to provide tamper-resistant properties for the nozzle assembly, a nozzle connected to the base and having a pair of diametrically opposed tabs extending downwardly therefrom into the base, the tabs being capable of travelling radially inward when squeezed by a user, whereby, in a locked state, the mechanism limits the travel of the tabs such that (1) the nozzle cannot rotate relative to the base, and (2) the nozzle cannot be depressed to release the material from the container. When a user squeezes the tabs, the mechanism is in an unlocked state and permits the rotation of the nozzle relative to the base, to thereby enable the nozzle to be depressed relative to the base to allow it to dispense the material from the container.
