Abstract: A dispensing appliance allowing the loading of a container together with a dispensing tube is disclosed. After loading the container into the holding portion of the appliance, a dispensing cartridge is engaged into a receiving system provided in the dispensing portion of the appliance, which is movable with respect to the holding portion from a first loading position to a second dispensing position. The cartridge partially encases a dispensing tube with both inlet and outlet ends protruding out of first and second sides of the cartridge, such that the outlet portion of the dispensing tube is flexible. Upon engaging the cartridge into the receiving system, the outlet portion is engaged into a pinch valve while the inlet points towards the dispensing opening of the container. The dispensing tube inlet is introduced into the dispensing opening upon moving the dispensing portion of the appliance to its second dispensing position.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an airless cosmetic container capable of discharging cosmetic product content in various patterns, and more particularly, an airless cosmetic container for enabling a user to select a cosmetic product content inside two storage containers provided inside a cosmetic container body and discharge content from only one container, or for allowing dispersed discharge through discharge holes from a mixing member when two types of cosmetic product contents are discharged simultaneously, thereby allowing the user to apply makeup with a single push. The discharge holes formed through the mixing member may be formed into various patterns to allow the cosmetic product content, to be discharged into various patterns, thereby providing aesthetic impression to consumers.

Abstract: A handheld valve dispenser includes a barrel having proximal and distal ends and a fluid chamber adapted to store a fluid. A dispense tip is coupled to the distal end of the barrel and includes a piercing element and a valve seat. The piercing element is configured to pierce the seal and establish an aperture therethrough when the dispense tip is first coupled to the barrel. A valve stem is received within the fluid chamber and is movable between a closed position in which the valve stem sealingly contacts the valve seat to prevent fluid dispense, and an open position for dispensing fluid. The barrel may include an outer barrel member and a disposable inner barrel liner removably received within the outer barrel member.

Abstract: A device for mixing and dispensing fluids has first and second walls that form a chamber connected to a nozzle. Inlets each configured to receive one fluid are arranged in the first wall. Proximate edges of the inlets are an equal distance from a central point on the first wall. A seal having top and bottom surfaces and a center through hole is positioned in the chamber. The center hole is substantially aligned with the central point. A surface area of the top surface is greater than a sum of the sectional areas of the inlets. A dispensing pump moves the seal between a sealed position in which the bottom surface seals the inlets and an open position in which the bottom surface is spaced away from the inlets to open the inlets to draw the fluids into the chamber to form the mixture for dispensing through the nozzle.

Abstract: A fluid product reservoir, for a dispensing system, is made of a walled container having an aperture formed at one end thereof. A reservoir cap seals the aperture from exposure to the atmosphere. A pump integrated into the reservoir cap allows fluid product to be dispensed from a dispensing system. A venting mechanism is installed at the interface between the aperture and the reservoir cap to allow air from the atmosphere to displace fluid product as it is being dispensed. The venting mechanism includes a one-way valve, which permits air to flow into the reservoir but prevents fluid product from leaking out from the interface between the aperture in the reservoir cap.

Abstract: A point of sale (POS) interface solution is provided to interface a POS system or POS terminal to an automated bar tending system, allowing a drink order to be entered into the automated bar tending system other than by a user interface on the automated bar tending system. The POS interface provides a drink order signal to a printer for printing a drink order on a ticket for processing a drink order and/or on a bill to present to the customer. The POS interface also provides a drink order signal to the automated bar tending system for displaying the drink order on the user interface.

Abstract: Dispenser device for automatic dispensing machines of carbonated beverages from bottles and like containers. At least one decompression chamber is associated and works together to an inert gas insufflating system in order to maintain the carbon dioxide content of the beverage after the bottle is opened, therefore keeping the original effervescence and perlage of the dispensed carbonated beverage up to complete depletion of the bottle.

Abstract: A dispensing device as well as a dispensing head and use thereof are proposed. Through depression of the dispensing head, an associated dispensing valve is opened and the product to be delivered can escape or be dispensed through an outlet space and via a downstream outlet valve. In order to prevent or at least minimize subsequent dripping or foaming, the volume of the outlet space is initially reduced upon actuation of the dispensing head and enlarged again upon completion of actuation, particularly after closing of the dispensing valve, whereby the product is suctioned away from the outlet or outlet valve back into the outlet space.

Abstract: An anti-oxidation bulk product dispensing system for oxidation-sensitive bulk product includes a gravity-feed bin, an oxygen displacement substance, a supply source, and a control valve. A reservoir of the gravity feed bin is filled through an inlet with oxidation-sensitive bulk product. The product is stored in the reservoir and selectively dispensed through an outlet of the bin. The bin inadvertently receives oxygenated ambient air while receiving and dispensing the product. The supply source is configured to selectively provide the oxygen displacement substance to the bin. The control valve is in communication with the supply source and the bin and is configured to selectively deliver the oxygen displacement substance to the bin. The oxygen displacement substance displaces the oxygenated ambient air in the bin, thereby lessening oxidation of the stored product.

The unit has a flexible resilient sealing element having a floor layer lining the floor of the first groove. The unit has a second half body with a contact surface and first and second walls extending out of the contact surface and defining a second groove. The contact surfaces of the first half body and second half body join, wherein the first and second walls penetrate into the first groove so that the free end of the first and second walls forms a fluid-tight contact with the flexible resilient floor layer lining the floor of the first groove, defining a fluid-tight channel bringing in fluid communication a fluid inlet with a fluid outlet. The channel is non-rectilinear and/or having a cross-section varying over the length thereof.

The downspout assembly may include a lateral member extending laterally from the downspout assembly and engaging the wall adjacent the slot. A pinch member may be partly enclosed within the lateral member and dimensioned to move partially through the slot. A pinch handle and the pinch member may move the pinch member in and out of the slot. A coil spring may engage the lateral member and the pinch arm urging the pinch arm at least partially through the slot of the body. A flexible insert may be dimensioned to tightly fit against the walls of the channel of the body, the insert having an open top and an open bottom.

Abstract: A dry product dosage dispenser has a container with a cavity between top and bottom ends, a cap on the top end, and an internal partition extending between the top and bottom ends of the body, forming two sub-cavities within the body. The internal partition forms a diverging funnel-like structure giving each sub-cavity a wide upper opening on one end and a narrow lower opening on the opposite end to help product freely flow from one end to the other. Product passes from one sub-cavity to the other through an opening in the internal partition. The dispenser is flipped from its upright position to dispense the product passed through the opening. An adjustable volume compartment can be used at the second end of the container to enlarge the volume of the dispenser and provide variable dosages. The internal partition may be removable or separate for use as an insert.

Abstract: There is provided a dry food dispensing apparatus for connecting to a storage receptacle, for the purpose of controlling the portion size and accuracy of the dispensed food, the apparatus having a base providing a housing defining a hollow circumferential interior with a centrally disposed hub, an extraction element disposed in the housing for extracting a first pre-determined portion of the dry food, a rotatable cell holder having a centrally disposed socket for engaging the hub of the base from above, having at least one open-bottomed cell for receiving and temporarily storing the extracted first pre-determined portion; and a dispensing aperture formed in a bottom of the base for releasing the first temporarily stored portion when the extraction element is operated to extract a second pre-determined portion, and the extraction element is operated in a cyclical fashion to obtain from the extracted portions a desired quantity of the dry food.

Abstract: This invention is a vertical fluid storage system with an upper container connected to a lower container. A fill port can be used to fill the upper container wherein the top fill hose is in fluid communications with the upper container. A first top valve in line with the top fill hose can be included to or controlling the flow rate of fluid into the upper container from the fill port. A top fluid level sensor can be included in the upper container for sensing the fluid level of the upper container. A gravity port included in the upper container can allow fluid to flow from the upper container to the lower container either during filling or when fluid is removed from the lower container. A dispensing port can be included in the lower container for dispending fluid from the lower container through gravity of a pump.
